As you lose weight does the amount of calories you are allowed automatically go down? or is there something I'm supposed to do to?

  • i think it automatically goes down as long as you are weighing in on MFP :)

It doesn't always. I always go back and re-set my goals each time I weigh in.

IF you go to check in and record your new weight as each weigh in, mine self corrected. BUT since I liked to customize my goals, I Would also go there and update as needed.

MFP will prompt you to re-calculate your goals every 10 lbs lost. It doesn't do it automatically. But, you can go into your goals page and re-calculate anytime you want, if you want to do it more often.
