I would love to do it - just don't have the magazine. Sounds wonderful though as my best friend is vegetarian.... I have no trouble avoiding me and she has encouraged me to change my meat-eating ways :)

I was really put out with the scales this morning and had drunk a HUGe amount of water already so I had one of those snack pack bags of Cheezits. :(

personally (and I'm not overly intelligent), I would calculate the totals for each ingredient, then if you ate 1/12 of it, use 1/12 of the total calories. Again, though, I'm not sure that is the best way, just my way

When I went to the doc on 1/11, I weighed 197, when I went back three weeks ago, I am down to 183. Doc asked how I am doing it and told him I had seen a nutritionist and was staying at 1300 calories/day. he said that I could drop down to 1000 and lose quicker, that's what he tells people that he prescribes diet pills to.…

I refuse to give up anything - that being said, if I want Doritos, I eat a few. If I want a candy bar, I eat it. I just make allowances for it in my day.

on of my health magazines said to brew a pitcher, add in lemon, lime and orange slices and drink it up. I tried it this weekend, and it's really good.

I seldom eat beef.....in fact, I cannot recall the last time I had any, but it causes me severe stomach distress. Don't know why, and the doc gave me some meds to take, but it's just easier to avoid. Love chicken, though, and that ham I baked today is looking pretty tasty

today I am having a Lean Pocket (whole grain) and some steamfresh veggies. Busy day so I had to just grab something and go. One of my favorites is a place here in town that takes a whole grain wrap, humuus, sprouts, tomatoes and whatever other veggies they have - yummy and so healthy. My confession.....when I last went to my gyn, I told him of the horrible water weight gains and he gave me a water pill. Now, I only take 1 or 2 per month, right around TOM and it helps. I would gain 5-7 pounds. Granted, it doesn't help with the cravings, but when I feel better about me, I don't tend to overeat......
