  • Well I did it, I finally worked out in the morning. I cycled to work this morning, 6.5 miles, and at least 5 are up hill. I have to say it nearly killed me. Last time I did this, in October last year, it took 40 minutes. Today it took 55! But I did it, and I feel great for it. Also, as I was cycling past Down House (the…
  • I'm going to give this challenge a miss. I do really like it but it's making me stressed! I shall focus on the changes I'm making which are big enough right now. Thanks Amee for thinking of the challenges.
  • I'm having time zone issues here. I'm just going to bed on Tuesday night, and tomorrow I will be doing a plank in the morning (Wednesday's challenge). So those of you in the U.S. Are still in daytime Tuesday, is that right?
  • I am so impressed womaniamnew xx Today I ran on the treadmill for 30 mins, first time running for about 18 months. It was great. I am still plodding on with Jillian. I love Jillian x
  • So I started yesterday, with workout one, and I can feel it in my arms today, ouch. I'm inspired to keep going as it was hard but not impossible and I felt great when I had finished it. Hope its going well for you Stacey.
  • Another day not working out in the morning, hmmm. I need to have a think about why not. I will be doing day 2 of Jillian Michaels tonight when I get home.
  • I love it. I will be joining in from today, and will have a full stretch after my Jillian Michaels DVD tonight.
  • I'm on day 1 of Jillian's Body Revolution. It's 12 weeks, I think I will stick with that.
  • I'm inspired. I got up a little earlier and walked to the station at a very brisk pace, now sitting on the train a bit hit and sticky, and it's quite chilly in London this morning. It wasn't a huge workout but I feel good for it. Well done Hoyalawaya, I miss my treadmill, I sold it when I realised I only ran outside. Now…
  • Well, I've managed one work out so far this week, which is one more than previously so I'm happy with that. I didn't get a workout done this evening, but I will increase the amount I will walk tomorrow to make up for it. Jillian will wait until Sunday, she's good like that.
  • What's the 21 day fix?
  • Well done you for getting back on to it. I am guilty of letting life seduce me into too much wine and lovely foods. I am starting again today, and will be working hard at toning and losing weight. We haven't got Jillian's new programme here in the UK yet. It will be a while before it arrives. I went to one of her talks…
  • Hi there, I am in my late 40s, and a teacher. I am also currently training to be a hypnotherapist and counsellor and bringing up two teenage boys and a husband! This makes me a bit busy at times and I have let a lot of things slide in the last year. I have very bad knees, I am waiting for an operation. This has restricted…
  • I like that idea, and it would certainly help me as I have a tendency to promise myself that I will work off an indulgence rather than earn it.
  • I have a Garmin too, though I don't know which one off hand. It's currently charging ready for me to use tomorrow when I do lots of walking. I do like to know how far I am going and how long it takes, but I don't use the heart rate strap thing.
  • Hi Amee, can I join in too? I'm going to restart tonight, and I think it would really help me focus. I'm off to Greece in 5 weeks, and I can't fit in my summer clothes yet! I am going to walk for my cardio as I am waiting for a knee op and walking seems to help the most. Jillian does like her squats and this is going to…
  • I'm going to restart today, dust this off when I get home and do both workout 1 and cardio before heading down the pub tonight. I love this programme and it really helped me tone up and lose inches last year for my holiday.
  • Hello there, I'm new to this group but have been doing 5:2 for a while now. I find that the more I fast, the easier it gets. I used to try to eat 3 meals a day, but this left me feeling deprived, so I switched to one meal in the evening. It can get a little uncomfortable, but I choose my busy days and just push through it.…
  • Signing up
  • I keep trying to start again but am so busy at work that I am struggling to find the energy when I get home from a long day. I know I will feel better if I just get on with it, that I will feel fitter and stronger. I am going to try to start again tomorrow (its pilates tonight) and will double up and do WO1&2. There, I…
  • You look amazing
  • I can't believe I am now in phase 3. I love WO 9, it's awesome. Looking forward to WO 10 tomorrow.
  • Try not to be so hard on yourself. You can't be in the mood every time and anything is better than nothing. I've been known to set off on a run, and 10 minutes in know I am not going to give it my all. I usually just walk and accept that at least I did something. Usually the next time I exercise is so much better.
  • I have plateaued too, its been a few months now and I am very frustrated. I am going by measurements at the moment as I am going down in size due to exercising 6 times a week, but my weight is moving so slowly it's ridiculous.
  • That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I've lost inches all over, but the scales won't move. I'm glad I'm not alone.
  • I live on the outskirts of London and have had similar experiences. It's because running is hard and anyone who is out there doing it too knows just how hard, and how much it means to have a little encouragement. Welcome to the exclusive but inclusive club.
  • OMG I'm half way through series 2 episode 4 - the interview. It's so good.
  • This is Weston Pier http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/07/26/article-2018638-0A552570000005DC-990_964x552.jpg These are the Dodgems http://christinajamesblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/dodgems.jpg Hope that helps our friends across the pond(s)
  • I am not doing insanity, but Jillian Michaels' body revolution and feel the same way. I am in week 7 (of 12) and the workouts have got much harder, the technique a lot tougher. I am having to think about my form more, to make sure I don't rush it and end up with an injury. I was suprised by this, as my fitness has…
  • I'm on week 7, and bored is not a word I would use. Challenged, pushed, exhausted, and sore, but definitely not bored!
