We have the same goal and starting points (just about). Hoping we can keep eachother motivated and ensure we get there together! :-)

Sorry I posted in the wrong place!

Stay focused but most of all... ENJOY THE JOURNEY! You can do it!

When I was heavier it was because I chose to be that way. I controlled my lifestyle, what I ate, what I could have done to avoid losing it. When I got honest with myself I changed. I don't think people should be ashamed of being fat, but don't lie to yourself either.

Strength training builds muscle with burns fat. You'll have better results in the long term when you build a machine that burns fat! I do agree that you should have someone show you the machines. I just hired a trainer and he puts much more weight on the machines than I ever would. He also has me doing more reps than I…

Started today. Combining it with running and weights and low carb eating. Hope it works!

People are motivated in many ways. THIS IS A GREAT IDEA and you should keep on keeping on with it. What could be negative about providing motivation for people to explore a healthier lifestyle? No more attention towards the nay sayers. Anywho, it might be fun to track miles. So for instance get out a map of the US and let…

Way to go! What a great goal to celebrate!

Not sure why you are letting this bother you. What someone thinks about you is not your business. Empower yourself to live your life on YOUR TERMS. You owe NO ONE an explanation of what you are doing for YOU. Throw up the W for "whatever" and keep it moving. Your validation needs to come from within. <3

Hello all. I am new to the group. My goal is to stay under 30g carbs per day, drink 8 glasses of water, workout daily, get to sleep by 11pm, get in 10k steps per day! I currently weigh 159 lbs. and my goal is 140 lbs.

I do body beast along with cardio... Elliptical or running. I feel like I will need more to get where I need to be. I completed legs yesterday (if you want to call what I did "completing"). I did the best as I could for as long as I could with the weights that I could. It was rough! Someone told me to do cardio after the…

Awesome job!

How's it going so far? Are you seeing any results?
-
When are you starting?
-
How far did you get? What kind of results did you get? Were you trying to lose weight or lean out?
-
I wasn't able to start until yesterday but it was fun. Tonight I am on to the second workout.

So glad I found this challenge. 5/10 SW: 159 lbs GW: 140 lbs 5/11/2016 157 lbs Down two pounds that I attribute to eating like a cow over the weekend. Back on track and hoping to put these lbs behind me once and for all! Looking forward to checking in and the accountability of the group. Let's do this!

When I did insanity I modified a lot of the jumping as well. My rationale is that anything I did was more than I was doing before so it had to be helping! I say do it and do what you can. Don't push anything that does not feel comfortable. You can do it!

You CANNOT be fat and healthy. Every organ is working overtime to maintain homeostasis in the body. Just because you can maintain that for a while doesn't mean it's good. The body will manifest all of it's hard work sooner or later. It's a nice form of denial to suggest that you can be healthy and fat but the reality is…

When the going gets tough you have to DIG IN and fight through it. Feeling ravenous? Eat a bunch of celery and carrots. Feeling full helps to fight making bad food choices. Get an accountability buddy... someone to call, email or text when you feel like you want to eat the world and check in. Also, keeping a good journal…

Awesome job! I ran my first in September and have 3 more scheduled for this year. The first one is in April. I've been traiing and am looking for assistance with "energy foods". What have you been eating to help you train?

I loved it and it was worth it. With most exercise programs its all about personal taste. My friend loved P90 and I hated it. I loved Insantiy and she hated it. Watch the ads for it and see what you think. Also check out the million YouTube videos out there. I'm sure it will help you make a decision. Good luck!

Limiting sugar, flour, sweets… Not drinking calories (water, water, water)… Keeping track of what I eat by using MFP and staying connected and focused by logging in and being accountable to MFP buddies! You can do it!
