don't recall syncing anything to MFP. Regardless, unsync'd. Cheers.

Some brilliant suggestions. Don't live in the US, so some parts of the above don't suit. Seems the best idea is to use the watered Tuna and just add the oil after. Sad that, but no alternative. Cheers!

I'm open to mentoring. I am 50 years old and live in Germany. When I was 20 I weighed 124kg. Today, I weigh 78kg. I am semi-retired and very active. I lift weights 5 - 6 days per week, hike into the mountains, bike ride (depending upon weather) and study nutrition. I would be happy to assist one or two people. Send me a…

I'm curious OP, are you a PhD?

I am German. Don't really care about ESC. Also, don't have a telly.

Tom Platz and Dave Draper were both known for doing deep squats with heavy weights. Tom had enormous quads!
-
You are stretching before and after you squat, correct? If not, you definitely should be.

Bunker, I agree fully with what's been said. You said you didn't feel like you gave it your all. What do you think was the cause? Reason I ask. Many years ago, I would experience the same thing. I followed some suggestions and today I can't recall the last time I felt that way. Go in focused and pumped. Mentally prepare…

I think the warranty has run it's course. Might want to have that looked at for thin wear marks.

nice to know I''m not the only ill-fitting person in this world. :)

^^^^ this, this & this. Shira, if you are eating meats, fish, veg, fruits, nuts, etc., you are getting all you need. The occasional protein powder is nice when you don't have time for a meal. Here is a great article on protein and BCAAs from Dr Stuart Phillips.…

OP, what you're doing is extremely dangerous for your health. You calories are so far beneath your BMR, that this is going to hurt you more than do you good. Read this from the Illinois University Medical Staff: http://www.mckinley.illinois.edu/handouts/metabolism.htm I've said this so many times over the years, but will…
Like someone else said, you'll tear through fat till you reach those last remaining pounds
And at a 2000 calorie deficit, he'll tear through muscle too.

I am sorry to hear you went through that. I'm sure it was very scary. But I am glad to see that you've recovered. I am wishing you all the best and hope your heart continues be healthy for years to come!

Yeah, forget science. Forgo medical and sport studies and decades of trials. Forget what the experts have determined. Just make up your own ****.

Every time I see this topic, and it appears weekly at a minimum, I cringe. Literally. Just something to ponder over and I hope someone or sometwo, will take a moment to read the links here. Consider that you are in hospital (I hope not in reality) and are comatose. This is the single most rest stage anyone can be in. You…

Minimal protein? How about Tofu? I'm a meat-eater, but I also enjoy Tofu. My Organic shop here has numerous types. All are high in protein - yes, Soja protein. But it is quite delicious.

2 cups very strong, black coffee. 7 Egg Whites 1-78gr Leinsamen-Molke Semmel (Flaxseed-Whey roll) 20gr Becel (margarine) 25gr Rapunzel Erdnussmus Fein (peanut butter) 634cal, 54gr Protein, 42gr Carbs, 26gr Fats. And so the day began.... :)

I saw this topic this morning and have spent the day thinking over it. I never have considered not exercising, so I found myself really thinking hard on this all day. I'd have to begin by defining what exercise is to me. It's not simply going to a gym to do cardio or lift weights for a set length of time. I am not even…

Here in Germany, we have an organic PB made by Rapunzel. It is made from 100% organic peanuts with no sugar added. 100gr has: 30gr of proteins 49gr of fats from peanuts only - no saturated fats. 9,4gr of carbs - no sugars and no sodium. And it is very delicious.

Pre-workout: 60-70gr of Spelt Oats, 6 Egg Whites and 25-30gr of Almonds, but it varies. Intra: Water. Post: 200gr Turkey or Chicken, 100gr of Whole grain rice or Spelt Pasta. BCAAs: Don't really need them. If you are eating foods, especially meats, you don't need the extra BCAAs as they are already naturally occurring in…

BMI is not useless. Antiquated, yes, but physicians still use it. Body Mass Index. Problem is, it does not take muscle mass versus body fat into account. It merely, as Minkyou was kind enough to provide a matrix, shows a scale in accordance to height and weight. It's a simple premise showing you approximately where you…

No. Is accurate. I have two. One that measures in increments of 10gr and one that measures in increments of 1gr. I also have a 5gr and 10gr brass weights to ensure calibration. Simple.

Be careful. If you order "Stilleswasser" you should get bottled. If you order Leitungswasser, it is water from the sink. Normally. I have heard that some places with bring you sink water and charge you for bottled.
