Tightness Post Squats?

I’m on day 11 of the 30 day squat challenge*** and broke it up the 105 squats yesterday into 3 sets of 35. Last night, I noticed my right hip was mildly tight, but didn't attribute it to any particular exercise at the gym. This morning I woke and it’s definitely tighter and a little achy when I take a step. I looked up the area and I think the tightness/dull ache is coming from the tensor fascia latae. I believe my form was correct as I have no other pain in any other part of my body.

Is there a stretch or something that I can do to relieve the tightness/achiness??

It’s not to the point of being painful, just annoying when I walk. I am supposed to spin tonight and am thinking maybe I should forgo it until the achiness goes away?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

***I know there’s controversy on 30 squat challenge.

Not a fan of daily "challenges", due to the risk of over-training. I would squat every second day to allow your body time to recover. On your off day you can do a different muscle group. Even better, follow a properly-designed, full-body strength training program (NROL, Stronglifts, etc).

You are stretching before and after you squat, correct? If not, you definitely should be.
