Started a KETO/low carb lifestyle January 1st. I’m down 35 lbs since and feel so much better generally. I can’t quite get to KETO numbers, but my carbs are usually around 10% of my calories. I’ve been losing and gaining the same 30 lbs for the last 10 years. Determined to make this a life-long commitment.

I find when I'm in a relaxed state I'm able to focus on eating clean and working out. I'm able to push myself through the hunger and the pain I have during some workouts. When I'm stressed and tired I sometimes just can't put up with it and give in. I've been off work injured for several weeks and find it much easier…

As someone who fills out a seat, I appreciate the way you treated this woman. I've lost about 50 lbs since I've been on here but still have plenty to go. Ill probably never have enough shoulder room on a plane but I've always been able to fasten the belt, barley. It has always caused me a lot of anxiety when traveling. I…

I know how you feel with regards to difficulty getting started. I've started and stopped so many times I lost count. I think the first thing you have to do is approach this as a lifestyle change and not think of how you are depriving yourself. Any activity is better than nothing. If you can walk in intervals, do it. Try to…

I ride. I have an 06 Heritage Softail. Trying to not look like the typical fat middle aged guy on a Harley!

For one, at 5'1" and 111 lbs, you do not need to lose any weight. You probably lost water weight. At your weight and age you should not be concened with losing weight. You should be more concerned with making healthy food choices and fitness.

Dont let the guys intimidate you. There is no better strength training exercise than deadlifts.

Dont give up, guys can be jerks. I know, I am one. I'm a firefighter and we have had those biggest loser competions. Guys like to talk smack and sometimes dont know when its gone to far. Your best revenge would be to win. Good luck!

Im a Firefighter/Paramedic also. Glad to see so many of us on here. Feel free to add me as well.

My story is similar. I had lost 100 pounds in my 20's and have gained it back and then some. I miss chicken wings as well. I couldn't believe how many calories they have. They are evil. I like your sense of humor. Feel free to add me.
