  • Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice. -Wayne Dyer I think this quote by Dyer says it all...its your choice, and something you want or you wouldn't have bothered getting on this site. Now the question is....Be miserable or ?

  • I have read and had my Dr confirm that exercise while sick has been proven to help you get over it more quickly. That said if it was intestinal for me I would pass on exercise, anything else and I "just do it"
  • I wear a HRM at our class and we average about 800 calories in 60 mins

  • I like to have a drink, especially after a long day at work. I don't have one everyday but bottom like most beers and if you choose mixers wisely most mixed drinks are around 100 calories. It is well worth it to me to exercise an extra 10mins when I feel the need to have myself a nice cold one. :drinker:
  • I do a variety of cardio including running. I can say this not every run is good but I notice that is the case with any of the exercises I do. There are times when I get finished and think to my self man that was great and other times I am like blech :grumble: this was crappy. Basically I think it has to do with my mood…
  • I feel your pain...Mine is donuts...Oh how I hate(love) them  I can cheat now and then and hold myself in check with almost any other food but donuts....man they are a killer. Sooo I decided since I have no sense when it come to the soft fresh sweet orbs that I won't touch them at all.:grumble: and guess what?…
  • Two things are in my thoughts, first and foremost have you seen a Dr? There could be something going on here...thyroid? the other is you just may be at a plateau and just have patience and you will see a big lose when you get past it. Keep trying dont give up!!!::happy:
  • I top it differently, take a pkg of sugar free, fat free cheesecake jello and make it with skim milk, fold in cool whip free and top cupcakes :) p s they also make a lower sugar cake mix.
  • I agree, the machine is always more accurate and I would rather err on the side of caution, I always use the lower amount of calories burned. Good Luck and God Bless
  • You GO GIRL!!!!:drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
  • I lost 75 lbs over the course of about 18 months for the most part pretty steady, did have a few times where I would put on a few ounces and then start losing again....Really mad at my self for slacking after losing all that weight and gaining 25 back. Found this site and so far am back on the road to healthy. I do think…
  • LMAO....which is a good thing :)
  • At our Zumba class at least three people wear calorie burn watches, it varies between the three about 20 to 50 calories but we average 600 calories in a 60 min session.

  • If your stomach is growling I don't think you will be able to just go back to sleep. I would try a low cal snack, either some fresh fruit, or veggies or some of the 100 calorie popcorn packs.
