  • Seems like you're eating a lot of bread, too. My wellness coach suggested I cut back on the bread because I was eating only about 1500 calories and still not losing. She said I should also increase my protein.

  • I hate exercise. Period. I will go walking if someone goes with me. I have started to go to a dance class a couple of times a week. If I could maintain/lose weight without the exercise, I would probably never do it. :-/

  • You're not eating enough. Eating 1200-1300 calories a day, then burning upwards of 2000? You don't have that many too burn!   • Hi Ladies. I made the soup as well (I used okra). I love the soup, but I'm a little tired of it. I just can't eat it every day. I think I am going to freeze the rest for another time. Any other recipes that are just really great?
  • I was doing great (down 1.4 lbs). Today I'm doing sucky! I am in total carb meltdown! I made the chicken soup last night, and will be back on target tomorrow.

  • I picked up the book from my local library. I've used this diet before and it really works. I went on a cruise and gained 10lbs. I used this diet to lose the weight. If I did it once, I can do it again!

  • Is this new? I'm pretty sure this is not a "first lady" idea. They were doing portion control when I was in school (I'm 35). I think portion distortion is the issue. We think 3oz of meat is just a little bit when that is a normal portion size. A lot of the things we eat are over-sized. We want a quarter pounder, not 3 oz.…
  • I don't know if it does or not... I haven't seen in slimming in my waist. What it is good for, though, is back support. Also, I notice that when I'm wearing mine, I consciously (or unconsciously) tighten my ab muscles.
