Make sure your protions are right. Also I never started losing until I cut my carbs I always stay under 100 carbs, sometimes even lower then that.

I do the cleanse quarterly. Its a great way to "clean" out your insides. Also I will be starting P90x in Jan so I am going to start with the cleanse first. Cleanses aren't ment for you just to lose weight.

I am a beachbody coach, but I won't sit her and agrue with everyone about Shakeology. It is an amazing product that has helped me to lose 30lbs. Also the cleanse is a great way to get started. I am doing it next week.

Its very true. And the reason pp has lost weight since you have started running but have changed what your eating is because you are burning more calories. Its simple calories in and calories out! I exercise to eat more!

That sounds great, but you still have to count calories. I have been doing low carb since July if I ate 539 calories at every meal I would be 30lbs heavier not lighter!

Yes I am definitely ready, and I am the same way with red wine or any wine for that matter. I no longer keep it in the house. I have to say i have maintained now for 4 weeks but some bad habits are back. So I need to kick it into gear and stop those bad habits!

I have heard this. I know for me when I am on it I am always starving, I get this way when I am sick also. I think everyone's body is different but I can def add in some extra cals and not gain anything.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I am just adding back in carbs to my diet and I think that is what is making me so hungry. I think higher protien snacks is what I need.

The lowest calorie alcohol is bacardi the clear kind, its about 55 per shot. I love the pinnacle whipped vodka I drink that wih the flavored sparkling water its so yummy. The best thing about vodka is it doesn't have any carbs!! I am a carb counter.

What kind do you use?? Sometimes I feel like it would be easier to have a shake then worry about eating, especially with a 7 month old.

I have never tried the frozen kind, but I like to do zucchini in foil in the oven or grill with cheese. Also it goes great in omletes!

I usually use splenda, but today I but the stevia. I haven't tried it yet hope its good!

I was completely addicted to diet soda, and quit drinking it about 8 weeks ago. I will have one every once in awhile. But I say go cold turkey. Your head will hurt for a few days but after you will be fine! I don't even crave it anymore. I just drink water now.

I have been doing about 20-30 carbs a day for over 8 weeks now and do not feel anything like pp said before. I have way more energy, I stay fuller longer, and have been dropping weight consisitenly.

I am doing a similar diet plan and I get into ketosis easily. I can eat 20-25 g of carb and got into ketosis and stay there, so that is false information. Being in Ketosis has allowed me to lose 17lbs of fat and no muscle. But the lack of calories shouldn't be causing you not to lose, right now I am only eating 750-800…

I have been on low carb, 20-30g a day, for 7 weeks. I have not lost any muscle. I get this tested every week, I have lost 17lbs of fat though. You just need to make sure you are getting enough calories so your not losing muscle. Research Ketosis and you will find more information.

I completely agree with this. I am on a low carb diet too, I only do 20-35g of carbs a day. Been doing this for 7 weeks and working out pretty hard. I have not lost any muscle just fat, I have this checked once a week. I love my new low carb life style!

You should be drinking half of your weight in oz of water a day if that makes sense. I find it easier to drink more water from a straw. I use those plastic starbucks looking cups and its easy to get my water in.
