Exercise will be that hard especially if a person hasn't been working out and starts a new program. I have a huge problem with diving in way too hard and then getting burnt out or injured. Make sure you're not taking it easy but you're not killing yourself over this exercise. It WILL get easier.

Wow. Good questions drussander. I am still athletic. No longer a member of a team? Sooooooooo would ex member be more appropriate. Regardless....I did eat more calories than burned!

According to my trainer Im supposedto aim for 120G of protein a day....I get around 80-100 without going over my cal limit everyday. I already use whey protein to help wth that. . . Im more talking vitamins. Casein? CLA? Etc

Honestly, coffee or meditation. If I drink coffee or tea, anything warm and calorie free...it gets rid of any craving Im having. Meditation: its more like yoga. I sit, empty my head, and do nothing for about 30 seconds to a minute. I busy myself with something else and go from there.
