@lindsaypowell. I think you can go into settings and change your calories to a higher percentage. Way to go on nursing...I nursed my twins for two years....one of the coolest things I have ever had the privilege of doing!

Hello, I am 5 1" as well and similar age (41). I lost about 16 lbs between nov-feb. now my goal is to lose 15 lbs, I began last week. I know for my height I should lose more but I have to think of it in little chunks or I get overwhelmed. I am looking for support as well.

We got stuck there last year due to the flood and another time we were there it flooded and took us forever to get back to Chicago. I love the college town and spirit.

Are you really a hawkeye? I have spent a lot of time at the U of Iowa hospital, tho have never lived there. Feel like I know that town, been there over 20xs in last 7 years.

I agree to go by time and count it as rigorous exercise. I do this with my kids and I find it fascinating how crazy hard it is-- it is cardio activity for sure!

Thank you both.... The protein thing just threw me off and since I am at a bit of a plateau I was hoping for an easy fix :) When I go to fitwatch to calculate my calorie intake it says I should be eating more calories. So, I will watch that. Thanks.

@psulemon. I stated that TODAY is my first time on this site recording my food. In the last couple months I have lost 16lbs. I was simply wondering about the protein portion of the food counter.

Okay great, thanks for the replies. I am under in calories and under by a lot in carbs and sugar. i am happy about all of those! I try to eat an organic/ raw high protein/ low carb/ low sugar diet. It is cool to keep track of it on here and see that my food intentions are successful. You both look amazing!

Hey thanks for replying! I have a child with multiple dietary restrictions as well! That whole cook for the family thing is so hard! Many times I prepare 2 to three different meat/ protein and 3 different veggies/ fruit. Nice job on the DVDs especially in the morning- I am not a fan of either. :)
