Your fellow exercisers at your gym appreciate it when you don’t spread your sickness at the gym. Fitness is (should be) a lifelong journey and missing a few days or a week is inconsequential to the overall journey. Listen to your body. I wish I had done this years ago.

For a really good time go to YouTube and search parkour fails. Laugh, wince, cringe and then pick something a little less risky. Especially if your responsible for feeding yourself.

If it's after midnight isn't it actually the "next" day? I always do this on my 2 midnight shifts because I sleep when all the sane people are working and work when they sleep.

If you know what you're doing in the gym then you'll quickly notice how terrible most "big" guys lifting form is...slanging weight around all crazy, like they're doing the humpty dance (just kidding..go lift for goodness sake!)

Everybody has "something" they could do better if they were just a little more "this" or a little less "that". Focus on what you can do, what you have done and what you will be able to do. Keep your head up and do a little more tomorrow than you did today! Good luck!

I loved it....till I blew out the disc between c-5 & c-6. That's when I found out I have DGD. But it was awesome till then. I now have a replacement disc and metal plate in my neck and am starting to lift weights again (albeit lightly) 6 months later. And I will do insanity again (modified to eliminate the side to side…

+1 on compound movements for abs. I don't do crunches. Planks are awesome though.

Yep, in socks. This will make your small stabilizer muscles very strong in your feet. Also the jumping exercises will blast your calves in a way that wearing shoes while doing it never will.
