Oh, my God! Now I'm terrified. I don't want to gain back all that I have lost. And as the days get closer to my visitors coming, I get more and more nervous. I've been working out 5-6 times a week for the last 4 months trying ot lose weight slowly and steady so that I can keep it off. I'm afraid that if I don't exercise,…

Thank you all for our responses! Wow, you're fast! One more question: do you boil mushrooms as well or just saute and roast them...?

Any TV shows on fitness and weight loss...?

I did a 45 min HIIT and abs workout at fitness blender. My God, it was hard! Burpees with thigh slaps?! Although I hit pause a few times and took more breathers than the video allowed, I managed to do it! I know I could have done better but given that previously I had done workouts of difficulty 3 and this was 5, I felt…

Hello! You can add me too! I'm also new here and new to calorie counting... We can motivate each other:smile:

I totally understand how you're feeling. It often happens to me too. As the others said, get back on track as soon as possible. Drink lots of water, get back to your exercise routine and any extra weight will be shed in a day or two, without restricting your calorie intake or killing yourself at the gym. You may need to…

Thank you all for your comments! I guess I'll need to buy a scale eventually. I feel that what I log is accurate because I mainly buy from Tesco so on the website it has nutritional info about all food... As for the holidays and the changes in life, I find myself going off track and gaining weight when a change happens,…

No, but I use the portion sizes at the calorie counter, e.g. 1 chicken breast fillet, etc...

My stats are: age: 23, height: 165cm (I think that's 5ft4 close to 5ft5), weight: 64kg... I exercise 5-6 times per week, at least 75 min at the gym. I usually eat 1,100-1,300 calories a day... Hope this helps.

It's so good to know that other people face similar problems... I struggle with binge-eating too, though not as often as I used to. I try to keep it under control, usually one day per week, when I indulge in my cravings. My problem is that I usually crave for fatty sweets like cookies and muffins and I don't feel satisfied…

Thank you! I find that when I don't exercise, i also tend to eat above my calories. I'll try to work on it. Again thanks.

I totally feel the same way!!! No self-control at all. I prefer not having anything sweet at all in the house or I'll eat everything in one sitting. What is difficult for me is to coltrol my cravings on the day when I have evening classes and I can't go to the gym. On that day, I want to eat sweets all day long, especially…

I understand how you feel because i've had some ups and downs with my weight too. Currently, I'm trying to lose the weight the healthy and right way, but once or twice a week I allow myself to indulge in any sweet craving I may have. I try to balance it out through exercise and healthy nutritional eating the rest of the…

I so much agree with you. I have a huge sweet tooth, sweets are my weak point and I can't seem to be able to get over it. So, what I try to do is limit the sweets intake to once a week. The bad thing is that on this one day, I go crazy with cookies, muffins, maybe ice-cream all day long and go overboard with my calories...…

That's the thing. Every week, one or two days I go over above my calories, eating 3.000 to 4.000 cal of crappy food, such as biscuits, cookies, chocolate... The rest of the days I do eat helthy and exercise, I'm just frustrated with myself because I can't understand why I keep losing control or why I can't just do it only…

I'd like to take part. What do I need to do?

Your advice sounds really helpful, and I need some encouragement at this point. I have made some progress in my journey but I feel I get stuck every now and then after a few days of eating healthy and exercising. Every week, at least once or twice I eat bad food and I feel I cancel all the progress I had made so far. Any…

I have started an effort to lose 8 kilos since January but I'm struggling. At least three times a week I slack and eat crappy food, although the rest of the week I do eat regular and healthy meals and exercise. I have managed to go down to 65 kilos but I'm worried that I can't keep my healthy lifestyle for longer than a…
