When in holidays

It may have happened to you, when on holidays I tend to put on weight, a lot of weight, usually 3 kilos in one week!
In a few weeks, my family will visit me and I'm afraid I'll not have time to go to the gym because we'll be going on short trips every day for one week. So I worry that with no exercise I'll put on the weight I've struggled to lose all this time. I now go to the gym 5-6 times per week for 1 and half hours each time. I really want to enjoy the time I'll be spending with my family but I'm nervous about the impact on my weight...
Also, recently, in order to boost my weight loss, I decided to incorporate one more workout in my day, apart from going to the gym. Not every day, but when I have time. For example, today, I did a 37 minute youtube home workout and went to the gym for my normal workout in the afternoon. Is it too much...?

Hi
we all have been there. Holidays with family and friends really test our hard gained achievements.
I have been in the same situation. Another town, no access to a gym or no time for a complete workout.
My suggestion is: try to limit the nutritional damage, eat at a deficit (meaning you will eat less calories since you are not burning calories with exercise), choose the healthier food items available. Keep your eyes on the prize.
Go back to your healthy routine as soon as possible.
Enjoy your holidays
Good luck in your healthy journey0 -
Thank you! I find that when I don't exercise, i also tend to eat above my calories. I'll try to work on it. Again thanks.0
