I use LIT- Gummy Worm. I like it because it gives me that tiny bit more energy when I do cardio. If I strength train, then there is no need for me.

I would look at the calories of the protein shake. I started doing shakes and they are higher in calories especially if you go over 8 oz. On top of that exercises more if you can.

It is all about lifestyle changes and not just "diets". Take it slow. Take one thing out per month such as soda, bread and etc. Change will happen but you got to get use to it first and not go full blown cold turkey on many things at once.

I am not a personal trainer but I can give you insight on what I do. For calories, I eat roughly the same amount. The only time I raise my calories for the day is when I do cardio. so you do both? then raise it by maybe 200 calories? I am giving an estimate. Personally I judge by my fitbit on eating more. I am at the same height and about the same weight and I have loads of problems trying to lose weight. I work towards eating under 1300 and exercise every other day for an hour or so even when I am sore. So far, It has been working. Maybe just focus on less calories.

$32 for my LA fitness gym member monthly. My apartment complex has free personal trainers twice a week. the gym is still worth though as mine has some really amazing zumba classes.

I would try eating more protein like nuts and Edamame if your always on the go. I agree with everyone on here nutrition wise. But you really need to eat. I usually aim for a protein, veggie/fruit and a small carb. My carb/fiber is usually air popped popcorn on the side. It is quick, fun and It fills me up til I eat again.

What types of food do you like the most? what food do you normally like to eat? Sometimes a starting point is the way to go. There are many great alternatives too what you already enjoy.

my advice: Always panic after a month. I am an avid weight watcher on my scale and trust me it gets frustrating especially when hitting a plateau. As long as you keep eating healthy and exercising, it will come down. Just wait a month. :)
