  • Yes, I've lost over 100 pounds in the last 3.5 years from eating a ketogenic diet, counting calories, and exercise. Keto works great for some, but not others. It helps regulate my sleep in a way that no medication can, so I plan to stay keto for life, even after I'm done losing weight.
  • Cauliflower rice; curry with spinach, snap peas, and mushrooms; and pork belly :)
  • I've had some luck with getting my (admittedly, minimal) loose skin to firm up a bit by using a derma roller - basically rolling hundreds of tiny needles on myself over and over again. It's a pretty intense tactic, but I have a high pain tolerance and I'm happy with the results. My stretch marks have also gotten a lot…
  • Nice smile and great background! :)
  • Hey OP, I've been doing keto for 18 months and it can definitely be tough to get the hang of it at first! 2 days is still early. I see you found some keto boards but if you still need help, feel free to shoot me a message :)
  • My TOM changed up a lot when I started keto and took a few months to even out. The first few months it was like 3x heavier than it's ever been! Now it's lighter than ever before [18 months on keto now]. I haven't had a lot of trouble with spotting but check on /r/xxketo, I know shark week is a common topic there!

  • 23/f, been doing keto for ~16 months and around 80 pounds down! My friends list has gotten a little stale and I'd love more ketoers as friends :) feel free to add me!
  • I didn't have a reliable scale when I first started keto, so I don't know if I gained in the first few days and then had a whoosh, but by the time I got a scale 2 weeks into it, I'd lost 11 pounds. I didn't get hit with the 'keto flu' until about days 5-7 and those were rough, I felt sluggish and woozy all day. Honestly,…
  • I eat super low-carb so real sugar is basically a no-go for me. I try to be as sparing as possible with the aritificial sweeteners but do use them on occasion and haven't seen any affect on my weight loss or appetite - I don't crave more sugar or overeat on days that I have artificial sweeteners. I mainly have the…
  • I aim for a gallon a day and I'm doing fine! The past few days when I was on vacation in a humid area, I was easily getting up to 1.5 gallons a day. Don't worry, you're not drinking too much :)
  • Dark wash jeans with white sneakers. It's so Justin Timberlake ca 2009 but I'm intensely into it. Add a plaid flannel rolled up to the elbows and it's a guarantee.
  • Yes, definitely! I have hypermobility syndrome so my joints are basically always going to be ****tier than normal, especially my hips. I wanted to lose weight initially to take stress off my joints as the pain was getting in the way of everyday life, but keto took care of my joint pain! I've only had to take a painkiller…
