Bacon is a party in your mouth.

The "bad taste" gif applies because I don't like foods masquerading as other food. If you want to eat rice - eat rice.

I love cauliflower....as cauliflower.

Huh, I'm surprised.

Calories burned during lifting are hard to measure. You can add an estimate. Continue to add your sets/reps etc in the strength training section and then add your time lifting in the cardio section under weight training. It will only give you an estimate.

Survive? Yes. Thrive? No.

If you maintain a calorie count above your maintenance - you will gain weight. You will be eating more calories than it takes to maintain your weight. The red line you speak of, means you have exceeded your calories for the day. You are over. Although you may not be over your maintenance at that point - you will find it…

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go along with Trog's head shake - no.

Someone said this to me years ago. "When you are ready to lose the weight, you will." I thought that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. Kind of mean, too. I mean - I wanted to lose the weight now. Well, no, I didn't. Not badly enough. When I was truly ready (and ready to put in all the work) it happened. Focus…

Yes. First things first.

I can understand your points. As I reach my goals, I try and remember this - in all situations. We have enough people putting women down without doing it ourselves.

Argh....

For you: A one dozen cookie salute. Nice work.

Verbal paleo gymnastics? Is that in the exercise database? This thread makes me sad for children.

A happy birthday to one strong chick! Love you girl. Have a great day!

Cauliflower toothpaste - it's the only thing I will even use. Cold showers? No.

Here's hoping the ice cream truck stops for you and has your favorite treat! Happy Birthday!!

Crazy is living your life in a bubble. It's banana bread. You are in control of what you eat. If you're not? Then you need the banana bread on the kitchen counter every day - so you can practice being in control.

Carry a scale with you so you can show people you are losing pounds -or-keep losing inches and let people really see how great you look. Not a choice for me. :)

In the simplest terms: This is now my healthy life in every way. No more, no less.

You do realize that once you lose the weight, you will be on maintenance. There is no going back to "the good life" of before. You can try and rush the process, but in the end, if you're not in this for the rest of your life - you're destined to have to keep re-losing. Determine what it will take to get you to healthy.…

This is good advice. Once you are truly committed to getting healthy in all ways - you will make it work. Best of luck!

I have been here for 2.5 years. I've lost over 100 pounds. How many days do you think I weighed in at the same weight? If you are hungry and discouraged - you are doing it wrong. Please read: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1175494-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants…

Good advice. Start today and learn to eat appropriately for your goals/macros while eating the food you plan to eat forever. This does not have to be hard or a punishment. It can't be if you expect to do it for the rest of your life.

This girl is soooooooooo smart - listen to her. I'm going to add one more thing. Look at every meal out as a little challenge. Part of losing weight and keeping it off is about learning to moderate - especially in the times we used to overindulge. Order a meal you love, log it, and then move on to tomorrow.

Oh, these are so awesome.

These have peanut butter - and that's healthy, right?

The only Halloween Bouquet you will ever need.
