Hi, today is my birthday and hubby upgraded my Charge to a Blaze! Feel free to add me! https://www.fitbit.com/user/2PSSRK

I find nut/fruit trail mixes to be an absolute waste. I picked up a small pack at my job's snack area and was surprised to see it was 350 cal for such a tiny pack!
-
I guess I feel kind of dumb and a failure because everyone says to rest a day to recover, and here I barely squat 30 times and I need more than that... :(
-
I'm a huge fan of scanning the barcode on prepacked foods and logging them. I scanned something a few months ago (a yogurt) that was off by 50%.

Can of soup, tuna on crackers, or a frozen meal.
-
Drinking a Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino.

5'2" newlywed/nerd, 26 years old! Hubby is doing it with me but doesn't use MFP. Feel free to add me!
-
Correct. You could eat nothing but cheeseburgers and donuts and as long as calorie in < calorie out, you will lose weight.
-
Yup. I usually gain about 3-4 lbs.
-
OP I just sent you a friend request. I'm 5'2" with a desk job and also over 100 lbs to lose. However, I eat between 1300 - 1500 a day. I use a food scale and log everything. Check out my diary and you can see what I'm eating. Yes, I eat fruit! I highly recommend a food scale and logging everything you eat.

I buy 2-3 frozen meals for lunch for the week. I also buy tuna (I really love the Lunch-To-Go by StarKist -- I'm having one today for lunch), and I also buy Campbell's soup. There's nothing wrong with processed food to eat. They're usually high in sodium so I make sure I always drink enough water when I have them!
-
I threw a dart at it. No, but really I picked something near-ish to my "ideal weight" (which is very low as a 5'2" woman) and decided to aim for that. I picked 140 -- still "overweight" but it would be the lowest I've been since I was a teenager. Then, we'll go from there.
-
You can always invest in one of those under the desk bicycle pedals. I'd personally wait it out though!
-
Nope, still broken.
-
Same, mine hasn't updated all day.

Quest bars
-
The only thing I count as water is actual water or water with some flavoring. I log coffee and tea separately.
-
I'm about 116 lbs from my goal. Starting at 275, want to be 135. I'm also 5'2". I read the forums a lot and I really don't want to eat at 1200, I think I'm going to starve. But at the same time, I've been doing so well. Kind of a double edge sword.

Hi! I use Just Dance for the PS4. When I had the PS3, I played about 3 other Just Dance games. It's a lot of fun and the time passes quickly when you play.

I hear you! I'm a paralegal and planning for my wedding in June. I know I won't be my goal weight, but I want to feel good on the inside, you know? :) Everyone can add me if they'd like!

I'm a huge fan of fruit, so I keep plums, nectarines, apples, or peaches in the fridge. Or, if I think that won't be enough, I grab a Quest bar. Strawberry Cheesecake is my flavor of the month!
-
It's 11pm and I just finished my workout. Sorry, being a student and a full time worker, and planning her wedding... I need my sleep. Those pillows are just so nice.
-
:s Noon and still no fix. Getting nervous. But I'm glad I found this group!

Tomatoes are gross and disgusting. We should take all the tomatoes and put them on another planet. Beyond that, I don't like anything in the melon family. Honeydew, canteloupe, watermelon...
-
Mine isn't syncing. :/
-
I just found out that the gram/calorie count on meat such as chicken is the amount uncooked, not cooked. So I've been logging cooked chicken using those numbers. :/
-
I think I'm stuck then, because I don't see anything that says "cooked" in the database. Maybe I should stop eating them. I only have 2 tenderloins left. What's a good suggestion if I mass cook my meat over the weekend? Should I stop doing that and put little flags with toothpicks so I know how many grams each one is and…

For me if I'm doing any activity other than walking or running, I love my HRM. My FitBit has a built in one, but I prefer the cheststrap. Whenever I eliptical, I take off the fitbit or it counts it twice.
