Have any of you ever taken Prozac? My doctor just put me on it a week ago. I hope it helps!

I'm glad we're all connecting on here!

That would be awesome. I am on meds but don't think they're working as well as they should. Are you on any?
-
Thanks for the replies guys. I haven't yet gone to a local support group. I just sent you a request Chewitz.

Oh yeah I can help you with this. You don't need to feel ashamed of what you are eating at all, if you stay at or under your calorie limit it's no problem. A calorie is a calorie, whether it's from carrots or a big mac or coffee. You can eat healthy foods and some treats and still lose weight. I eat a lot of crap and I am…

There were a lot of fit people at planet fitness?

Same here! What an amazing album!

I only read the first post, not the entire thread.

It sounds like she's pretty good at her sick little game. You need to be coy and outsmart her. Your best strategy could be to lose weight covertly. Don't talk about weight, food, fitness, exercise, etc. Just go about your business. If anyone comments on your food choices, appearance, or exercise habits, play dumb or say "I…

There are only a couple that have any value whatsoever. They do not contain HGH but they cause the body to produce more HGH. The best one is Levodopa. Although it is a prescription drug, it can be legally found OTC in supplements. Research it. According to articles posted on the NIH website, just 500 mg of Levodopa will…

BUMP! Beuhler?

Well then, come on down to the state fair of Texas in a month! Good lord, IDK how I'm going to fit all of those delicious fried goodies into my calories for the day.

Are these other people fat? Something I have noticed, which is really pathetic, is that almost everyone in the developed world is obese now. And. because they are all obese, society is starting to judge normal weight people as "anorexic" and now fat is considered normal and healthy. If these people are not thin, you should…

LOL yes! I am a sugar fiend! Thank God I count my calories and work out, or else I would be a total diabetic by now.

Going from being attractive to repulsive, according to some people. Not getting dates. Meeting someone in person who I talked to online and being told "You need to change your pictures."

Nothing besides excess calories can make someone gain fat. It doesn't matter what it is (cortisol levels, medications, etc). I put 12 packets of sugar in my cup of 16 oz coffee twice daily (130 calories each time, so 260 calories total in coffee for the day) and I am a fit, thin ultramarathoner.

In for the good ideas. Thanks, OP.

Of course it will go down when you lose all the weight. Super skinny girls have no belly. It's usually the last place to disappear. If you want a flat stomach, your bodyfat has to be 18% or lower (for females; under 8% bodyfat for males) and that is just going to take more time. Keep going, it will eventually happen.

You don't have to feel persecuted or ignored or whatever yada yada. Just do whatever you want and don't tell anyone about it. Don't mention anything about diet or exercise, etc. Top secret. And if anyone asks, "Have you lost weight?" just deny it. "Oh, I haven't noticed." And who cares what other people think? But yeah,…

That is the least of your concerns. Your risk of death from a stroke or heart attack goes very high for a good while after smoking a cigarette. Adding physical activity to the mix (further increasing your pulse and blood pressure) is not a good idea. I know you don't want to hear it. But this is coming from a former…

I have these two crazy cousins, both female, their parents are religious lunatics. Both of them have Crystal Gayle hair, down to the floor. They also wear those little house on the prairie dresses. I feel sad for them. So, definitely not that long, ever.

Hi, Do yourself a favor and buy the book "The Beck Diet Solution," author Judith Beck. You really need the book. Edit: It's not a diet, it can help you with the negative thinking you're dealing with so you don't get discouraged.

Hi Mike, The biggest problem most people have with weight loss is inconsistency. They start on MFP and then either stop for a while and come back, or stop altogether. So, the best thing you can ever do for yourself is to stay consistent and log in every day, no matter what. Consistency is key! Feel free to add me if you…

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. And never any progress.

Hi, Consistency is definitely hard. One thing you should keep in mind is that you have to be in it forever. Short-term focuses like fitting into this dress in 9 months sets you up to yo-yo. There is nothing more defeating than losing the weight and putting it back on. That may be part of the reason you feel discouraged…

THIS!!! It is the ONLY, and FINAL, answer

You can spot increase (e.g. lifting weights will grow muscles, and you could focus more on one area than on others), but you can't spot reduce unless you have liposuction. Your body will usually lose fat from most areas all at once, not just in the gut. Your stomach won't be perfectly flat until you are near, usually, 17%…

That is incorrect. Not everyone who does "clean eating" counts their calories or tracks macros. However, the counting is an essential principle of IIFYM. Duh. Edit: And what you said about you following clean eating and IIFYM means that you follow BOTH. Not everyone who does clean eating follows IIFYM.

LOL, true, but as long as you're careful with it it really can help. It's just fiber. Almost all fiber supplements, even benefiber, have that warning label on them, you can choke if you don't drink enough water.

The only one that's worth anything (and it's cheap too) is Glucomannan. It's a fiber that is also used to thicken food. It's awesome, it BLOWS UP in your stomach before you eat and you feel so full. Also, I swear, it carries some of your food through the digestive system and your body doesn't digest it. I lost so much…
