I wish I knew how much I ate before MFP, I'll never really know because of heizenberg's principle.

Just to avoid confusion, the term deficit refers to how many calories you burned in a day (including your resting metabolic rate which is around 2000 calories) minus how many you consumed. Or in other words how many calories you lost throughout the day (hopefully in the form of fat). Your deficit is the number of calories…

How long has it been? Whats your BMI?

One thing that's a dead giveaway for how good of a scale it is are the increments it's weights are in. Some are .5 pound increments and can fluctuate by over a pound. But if the increments are .2 pounds it means the sensor is a lot more sensitive and accurate. I think the increment is a better indicator of quality than the…

Unless you have heart problems, or dont drink alot of water, its not a big deal. People over react to it.

When you don't sleep, you don't digest properly. It's a fact. When I don't sleep I don't piss as much in the morning, and my other end isnt as active either. Unless your eating more food, or not being honest on your logs, its just the sleep factor and its all water/food weight. Over long periods of time, I suppose it could…

is the direct cause of a slower metabolism from sodium the higher blood pressure? i think people over react to the effects of sodium
-
are you saying sodium slows down how fast you burn fat? you know it causes you to retain water right? which isnt the same as gaining weight
-
There has to be something in the flavoring, 94% fat free popcorn with flavoring and the same size bag is 180 calories. In a full size bag. Unflavored popcorn has to be less.
-
Yup, I just saw that. Thanks!

Atleast it's safe to say the eat less exercise more routine can go a long way when you have alot of fat to burn. I can only speculate when my BMI gets low enough to the point where it starts to backfire.
-
Thanks Tim, i took the periods out but it just made the whole thing disappear.
-
I doubt it, I drink a lot of water, and eat a lot of sodium.

its gotta be the same level as walking, atleast

if your bmi is around 30 or greater, i think you can kinda ignore it until you lose more weight
-
i use a strength training entry in the database, it burns almost 200 calories per half hour
-
yea, it probably is good for you as long as it isnt excessive and you dont start eating 3000 calories a day
-
Don't you mean "Absolutely beware of those who speak in absolutes"
-
I'm not talking about anything that would manifest itself in the form of weight gain over the short term. I'm talking about eating your food more evenly throughout the day so that way your body has a higher demand for the food your digesting all day long. I guess splitting them as evenly as you can is the only thing to do.

yours is pretty awesome too :)

25 gram increments??? I got a 5 dollar one made by taylor with 1 gram increments that works fine from target

Somewhere on these forums a few hours ago someone posted how the body retains water when you are in a regular exercise routing. There are various processes that go on in the body that are trying to rebuild or repair your body, and it causes tissues to inflame and retain more water. The article was written by a personal…

My low cal margarita's are also known as, shots. lol

I guessed 25 per packet, counted 10 packets of sauce in a container. Found there is 1106 calories in a whole container, including sauce. 250 calories is about 22 % of 1106. So I took 22% off of a serving size of 3 egg rolls with sauce and it came to 132 calories without sauce, assuming they are 25 calories per packet.
