Yes-Carbs will make you crave more food and ladies make those FAT cells GROW! I am starting a KETO eating plan for one month and I hope to get to the stored fat cells. I have been on a low carb eating plan for 22 months and down 60 lbs.

Have you tried a top on the protein shake or straw use? I use unsweetend almond milk or coconut.

fruits=carbs and turn into sugar. I can only eat a small amount of fruit because I am in the low carb

Protein should be from lean meats or fish or other sources of protein. I was advised that if I am doing exercise (one hour or more) for that day to drink a shake to get to 80 grams per day of a protein at 150lbs. Usually one shake post workout 30 grams low sugar and carbs. I have to watch because I can gain weight on whey.
