  • I have 20 mo old twins and am going through the same thing. They eat constantly so I am eating constantly. No weight loss so far. I'd love to hear what other moms have done at this toddler stage. I work and have a gym with childcare but I am lacking motivation.
  • I'm back too for the millionth time. I'm trying to track everyday and workout 3x week. Add me if you like. Good luck!!
  • I'm giving up on the scale and focusing on eating right (below calorie goal) and burning calories (getting in shape for my 10K October 29). The scale is just going to have to get over it. "We are on a break." Thank you Ross & Rachel.
  • Great work! I'm doing Insanity and haven't really seen the scale move like I hoped I would. BUT I do have more toned thighs and I am so close to doing real pushups it's great. Sometimes the scale just isn't enough. I'm really proud of myself.
  • It's all about planning ahead of time. We like to eat out too and I thought getting a salad was always a smart move until I saw the calorie content. Some restaurant salads have as many calories as a Big Mac value meal! Use your MFP and the low cal options on the menu. Applebees has some great meals for under 550calories.…
  • Welcome!! Add as many friends as you can, it's great for motivation and accountability. It also helps to make your food diary public. Best of luck! Oncology nurse--your job is amazing. Thanks for all you do.
  • I'm nearly 10 years post op and still trying maintain. It's a daily battle and war with "hunger head." Keep strong and stay on the site, it helps me stay accountable. Good luck!
  • How often do you take before/after photos? Every 10lbs? Every month?
  • A month & 1/2. I've been trying to work up to the max interval dvds so it's taken me a while. I can definitely see muscle tone in my thighs and shoulders.
  • Did you set a goal weight you had to hit before you got the surgeries? I went to a plastic surgeon and he said it wasn't worth it until after I have children. I might get the Mommy-gastric-bypass-makeover someday.
  • Great to meet everyone and hear their stories. I'm celebrating my 10 years post op on December 22. I had surgery when I was 22 and it was truly a life saving decision. Best choice I ever made. At my largest I weighed 280 now I'm at 219, 201 was my lowest. The surgery helped me lose the 70 libs, but now I've got to diet…
  • I'm sorry it's been frustrating for you. Do you have any tips on how to get back on track? Are you taking vitamin suppliments, I know that's absolutely necessary and might help the body move from starvation mode (where it hoards calories) to burn mode.
  • This is my fear! I'll see how your strategy works. If I cook it he'll eat it right? That's how it worked when I was a kid. You ate what Mom put on the table. No arguments. Thanks for your support everyone!!
  • I'm on week 4 and I've gained some muscle weight. I'd love to be part of the support group--I need encouragement too!! The workouts are really addictive. And in truth, they are insane!
