I pay way more than $160 a month for a PT... and it's worth every penny. Paying now means I won't have to pay later!

No, but I understand how my obseity makes me feel this way. We all have battles, and they are for nobody to judge, you are so right. Sidenote: I hate that saying, too.

I'm gonna try that "spike day" this week! Thanks Russellb97 :o)

If you were and still are in your helthy weight range, and you want to enjoy your life... stop counting. Me? I will have a life-long fight to not be really fat and will always have to count. But be mindful, and as you probably learned from this site: all things in moderation. Good luck and congrats on your success!

I can't even think about DQ. They have a Nutter Butter Blizzard right now. Lord, help me.

Raw Onions - No. Hot Dogs/Sausages/Breakfast Sausages (in either patty or link form) - Barf. Brussel Sprouts - They smell like feet. It is gross.

Yeah! :o)

I'm pretty sure it's in the database. It's around 270 cals and a HUGE portion! I'm a big fan of Hungry Girl, mostly because the food makes me feel like I'm eating like a child... I love that.

I LOOOOOVE THIS! But watch the sodium :o) Hungry Girl - Nacho-rific Stuffed Chicken Ingredients: 1/2 cup fat-free refried beans 1/4 cup shredded fat-free cheddar cheese 4 wedges The Laughing Cow Light Original Swiss cheese 1/2 cup Fiber One bran cereal (original) 8 low-fat baked tortilla chips (like the kind by Guiltless…

This is true. However... I build in a morning snack time. My kids think it's for them, but it's really for me :o) In the afternoon I can hold off until my kids leave at 3:00.

They are a friend to me :o)

l almost always take leftovers for lunch. I already know the amount of calories because I already logged it!
-
Wow, that's a big discrepancy! I have no answer for you, but I'm interested to hear what others have to say too :o) FWIW, my home scale is 2 - 3lbs lighter than my gym scale, consistently.

I do circumference and caliper measurements every three weeks. I think it's pretty accurate?

August from Water for Elephants, because who abuses animials, really?! Bob Ewell from To Kill a Mockingbird. He's an angry man.

Me too. I just talked with my counselor about this today. She's going to have me keep a log of when I do choose to eat impulsively, or emotionally, and the emotions associated with them so we can identify some triggers. I'm also working to replace those behaviors with new ones, yet to be determined. I'm thinking it will be…

No. Competition just makes me mad... it's part of why I don't like to participate in organized sports. But I digress: The MOST motivating thing on MFP, for me are the Success Stories. Even if it's someone who lost just 20 pounds, versus someone who lost 120 pounds... seeing those before/after pictures are truly inspiring!…

So, I have a friend, who I guess you could consider to be overweight and she has actually gotten her certifications. Consequently, she's also lost a bunch of weight, I think becoming aware has helped her. Also, I actually work out with a certified personal trainer who went through the process of losing a LOT of weight. I…

I don't think that's the point. I think it's about people who tell you you MUST eat them back (or conversely, must not). Nothing wrong with asking... you're good :o)
-
I have been told this too and it doesn't make sense to me why you would work so hard to burn those calories, just to eat them back. But, this is my choice and I know at some point I will have to eat more. I have enough weight to lose right now that I don't eat them back and lose conistently... every single week. I don't…

Your time lapse is eye-opening... amazing work!

Awesome... This made my entire day :o) Welcome to you, creeper! Or should I say ex-creeper? Good luck!

I love my husbands biceps. Melt :o)

Honestly, make an account on The Knot and go to the local message board on there. There are a bazillion people on that website who can offer recommendations for good alterations in your area, and probably some for cheap. I did mine at David's Bridal: hemmed, torso shortened, and bustle. It's was about $300. We were kinda…

I drive a Corolla. I wouldn't call it my dream car. I had a '91 Mustang for three weeks when I was 18. Three weeks, then I let my 16 year old brother drive it and he wrecked it. That car was awesome.

When we were dating, we were watching one of those half-ton person type shows... you know the hour long documentaries? Anyway, I asked my husband if he would stay with me if I weighed 700 pounds and he told me no. So, I can get up to 699 and we're good :o)

Also from WA :o) Welcome and good luck!

I did this a week ago. I NEEDED some Chicken McNuggets on Friday night. So I had them. Then on Saturday I told myself it would be okay to get a DeLite Pizza from Papa Murphy's. I saw the slope, and it was slippery, so I had to tell myself not to go down it and get back on track. Sometimes those cravings are just so hard to…
