If you're not eating above your maintenance cals then it can't really be a cheat. Also, if you're eating the right kind of calories and are still hungry then eat some more. You've got to listen to your body or you'll make this more difficult than it should be. Are you exercising regularly? If so then this could be why…

Today was my first day of the recovery week. I've lost a total of 5lbs during the first month. I haven't been real strict with my eating either. I'm pretty please with the results so far. My legs and stomach are much tighter and my clothes are fitting more loosely. Also, I have gotten a lot stronger. I went from being able…

I have lost a total of 95lbs and have only been to a real gym twice. I workout at home. I do have weights in my garage. Half of my weight loss came from my elliptical and treadmill. As of a year ago, they are long gone. I run, lift weights, create my own circuits, run bleachers, do Tae Bo, Jillian Michaels videos and I am…

I completely agree! Stick with the one your started. Insanity will be there when you're done. :)

I'm 5'5.5" (TDEE is 2314) and I workout 6 days a week. My daily intake varies. With light/moderate to no exercise I try to eat around 1800 - 2000 calories. Moderate to heavy exercise I keep it at 2100 - 2400 cals. Works great for me. I'm never hungry and I still lose weight. I'll lose about 2 - 4 lbs every 3 - 5 weeks. In…

WOW!! You look fantastic!!

I completely agree with slainger. The only way to get better is to keep pushing yourself. I did a C25k program almost two years ago and I couldn't jog a minute at 4.5mph. I was determined to lose weight and be able to run when I felt like it. Just yesterday I ran 7.5 miles just because I can. :)

I've found a purse with a big bank role in it. I didn't count it though. It seemed like the person cashed their check then lost it. I turned it in immediately. I believe in karma and doing the right thing. Besides, I know how it feels to have money taken from you. I lost my ATM card on a payday afternoon and didn't realize…

I'm 5' 5 1/2" and I don't want to go below 140lbs. I'm not unhappy with my current weight, I just want to shed some fat. I want to see the muscle I've worked so hard to build.

Ya know!!

4 - 6 days a week, 1 - 2 hrs a day.

When lifting weights I do that with my husband. With any other other workout it really doesn't matter. I get into MY zone and tune others out. I'm there to workout not socialize (which is usually what others want to do).

I was EXACTLY like that. I would never let my hubby see me do a video even though we lift weights together. One day he watch on of my videos and wanted to do it with me. It sucked at first but I got over it. Especially since I was better at it then him. lol!!!!

I've never shaved my legs before. They don't grow hair.

Eating only 1200 calories put me in a horrible mood also. I was crabby all the time and had headaches. It wasn't until I figured out my TDEE and adjusted my calorie intake accordingly did I start feeling better. Now I eat between 1800 - 2100 calories. I feel great and I'm still losing weight too.

I have broad shoulders BUT I worked hard to get them that way. I don't have much of a defined waistline so my shoulders give me the appearance of one. :blushing: I lift heavy and do lots of cardio and I wouldn't change it for the world.

What keeps me motivated is my 1. HB Challenge folks (MFP Group). Seeing their workouts and how they strive for excellence keeps me on task. 2. Honestly logging my food. For me it's a game to stay in between my high/low calorie goal for the day. 3. My husband is a big motivator. I lift weights with him 5 days a week and he…

Jogging pants and a t-shirt. If it's cold I'll wear a thermal underneath. If I'm outside running, a beanie and gloves. Nothing special. I'm here to workout not impress. :)

WTG!!! Excellent job! :flowerforyou:

MFP has already created a deficit for you to lose the whatever weekly amount of weight you chose. Exercising creates a larger deficit so MFP factors it back into your daily foods totals. HTHs ETA: Guess Dawn and I posted at the same time. She gives a better explanation though.

I have a gallon water jug that I keep sitting out at room temperature. I use it during my workouts and I drink from it all day long. Besides my morning coffee, I don't drink anything else until it's gone. I find it a lot easier to drink when the water's not cold.
