Exactly. People are always quick to judge. You don't know if the father works nights, etc.

When they are at that age I found the best thing was to go for walks with the baby in stroller or carry them around like you did. At that age their schedule seems to always be changing. Just as long as you always try to sneak in a workout here or there, it will be OK. It won't always be perfect or at the exact same time of…

If he didn't do it you would probably complain about it. Just laugh and enjoy it.

This is the way MFP calculates it... Let's say your body needs 2310 to maintain the weight. And you choose the setting to lose 2 pounds a week. Well, MFP is going to deduct 1000 calories from your "maintain" number in order to give you a calorie deficit of 7000 (each pound is 3500 x 2 = 7000). Which means ideally you…

I have been using it for about a week. It is very small (good thing for me). I wear it on my bra. So far so good, to me the tracking of steps/activity seems accurate. And sleep tracking is great as well. The only thing that I noticed is that their "calories burned" seems a bit too generous. I have my fitbit linked with…

1. I rode my stationary peddler for 40 minutes at the office. 2. I chose a healthy breakfast and a healthy snack. 3. I did reps of squats and lunges in the bathroom!

Yay for fitbit!

Hi, I'm going to say what you probably don't want to hear: Be patient The weight gain could be many factors especially since you are a woman: bloating, time of month, ovulating, etc. Don't weigh yourself every day Did you make better eating choices for the week? If yes, YOU ARE MAKING PROGRESS even if the scale didn't…

I would suggest a Fitbit to track all of your steps at your pub job. And in the office I have a stationary peddler I put under my desk and use it 30 minutes every few hours.

Also, I don't think a mom of two and daycare is sedentary! I'm sure you get up with the kids throughout the day (just my opinion). And you say you also go to the gym...
-
You are losing almost 0.75 lbs a week... While this may not be your weekly goal, at least you are on the decline. I know "have patience' isn't what you want to hear, but give yourself a break and more than 30 days for you and your body to adjust to logging foods and choosing the right foods for your body.

Thanks to everyone who posted actual advice, suggestions, etc. Appreciate it!

If I would have wanted to Google clean eating, I would have done that first. This is a community where I seek advice, from fellow MFP users. That's the whole point.

Awesome, I'd like to do this. I will be honest, I have not been good with keeping track of other challenges. But this seems nice and flexible. I've been doing this since April 2011. I have lost about 34 lbs so far. I just watch my calories (of course) and I workout at home with the Leslie Sansone videos. I am currently at…

Thanks for the link. According to MFP my calorie (net) is 1310. I am curently 241 lbs. I am usually on the go during the day, maybe I will try lightly active lifestyle instead of sedentary. and see how that goes!
