I have made the angel food cake mix/pie filling cake, but I think the cake mix contains powdered egg whites. I used the angel food mix and lemon pie filling and they turned out like a lemon bar.

French Vanilla non-dairy creamer. I tried to compromise by getting the fat free and sugar free versions but they were not the same. I think I may try and make my own using sweetened condensed milk, almond milk and vanilla extract.

Hoisin lettuce wraps!! Fry turkey with some salt, pepper & Chinese 5 spice powder, add chopped water chestnuts, peas, carrots, about 1 cup hoisin sauce and a splash of rice vinegar. Serve in lettuce leaves.

@SnuggleSmacks It will be very small, just larger than a soda can but you can fit a lot in it. Plus the top tier has a domed lid and you can pile food higher than the height of the container.

@SnuggleSmacks here is a link to the miso balls recipe: http://justbento.com/handbook/johbisai/make-your-own-instant-miso-soup-ball

5'1" here and a goal of 130-135. I have about 35 pounds to lose.
-
@SpecialKitty7 I have a recipe for the miso balls you referred to. I should make them as they are easy to transport and we have a hot water dispenser here at my work.

I have this one too for my fiancé. It holds a ton!!! Walmart has these along with smaller ones for salad (still big).

@SpecialKitty7 It is a beckoning cat, I bought it from All Things for Sale http://www.allthingsforsale.com/ (be careful on that site, you can spend a lot of money!!!) I have egg molds, cutters, panda molds for rice, Star Wars stuff, all sorts of things for bento. I also have a geisha bento, she is very small but holds a…

Yes, I just started this week!!! I did the Diamond Dozen and I only did the Energy one the next time as I did some Zumba right before it so I didn't think I needed to do both Diamond Dozen and Energy that day.
-
Thanks for all the great info. I will definitely try the recipes and suggestions above!

What great stories!!! I wanted 6 month results because anyone can do anything for 6 months!!! Then just start another 6 months, and so on. I am getting married in July and want to get back on my lifestyle change and you are all very inspiring!!
-
The problem is the smoothies are over 1/3 of my intake, which is not all that bad if I am only eating 3 meals a day. I tend to graze during the day, snacking on carrots, cucumbers, grapes, etc. so I eat at least 6 times a day.

LOL!!! :)

I love bento lunch!!! I have a couple bento boxes and I have some containers that are divided. Hard boiled eggs, hummus, veggies, and some fruit are the normal items I usually put in my bento box, or sliced turkey, cheese, and crackers with some berries is a favorite of mine.

Very inspiring!

I'm getting married in July and just started Monday (again) on my lifestyle change. We can do this!! I'm using DDP yoga, stationary bike and weights.
-
I just started DDP yoga which I can tell is going to be good, but I'm going to supplement it with light weight training and cardio also.

I'm not overly obsessed with sugar, I just don't like the fact that most fat free and light items add sugar to make up for the lack of fat. I'd rather eat real butter and olive oil than vegetable oil spread, give me full fat/natural sugars every time over anything processed or synthetic. I believer your body can get rid of…

What temp do you cook them at? I can't seem to find it in the post. :(

Yes, that is true and I never thought about that. And butter is technically processed milk. But, my motto is still the closer to natural the better.

I don't like leftovers but I have found a few things I don't mind eating the next day or two. An easy quick and good dinner I make about once a week is roasted chicken and veggies (put everything in same pan & roast) and I use the extra chicken for soup, salads, etc. I roast 4 bone-in breasts at a time. Put sliced lemons…
-
I buy chicken breasts in bulk and clean/trim them all at once, and freeze in individual baggies. Wash & portion out fruits like grapes, pineapple so they are ready to go when I am walking out the door to work. I also try to plan out my meals throughout the week. Shopping day is Sunday so that makes it easier to plan out my…
