Got into a pair of jeans 2 sizes down from where I started. And I don't look like a stuffed sausage!

Awesome job! You can really see the difference. Keep up the great work!

Are you eating your exercise calories back??? You should be!
-
It depends on what your current weight and BMR are. If you've taken too big a drop in calories, it can keep you from losing weight. I recently hit a plateau and added 300 calories to my daily intake, then started losing again.

I count everything! Some fruits are higher in calories than you might think...i.e., peaches. Didn't realize that until I started using MFP.

That's the right attitude! One meal at a time...one day at a time. Before you know it, you will have formed new, healthier habits, and eating RIGHT will be second nature. Best of luck on your journey!

Eat more. Less calories doesn't necessarily mean losing weight...especially when you're under 1200 calories. I ADDED 300 calories after I plateaued, and now I'm losing again. I know it sounds weird, but you have to EAT to LOSE!

My cat just left me a butt muffin.

That's awesome, Jess! Just keep going. You're doing great, and the longer you do this, the easier it gets. It becomes more of a way of life, than a "diet." You CAN do this!!

Only happy couples gain weight together!! At least that's what my doctor says. This site is great as long as you're willing to be consistent and honest. Welcome!

Can't say I've ever bought new "small" clothes to hang on the wall as a motivator, but I DO keep some old "skinny" clothes that I try on periodically just to see how I'm progressing. Best of luck in achieving your goals and welcome to MFP!

Smart Ones egg/cheese English muffin...210 calories.

No to diet Coke!! You might want to try some flavored waters to make it a bit more palatable.

Eat your exercise calories back. Your body needs to re-fuel. If you're not even making your caloric goal, it won't be long until your body goes into starvation mode, making your weight loss that much more difficult.

My boobs haven't changed at all! ;)

The Tea Folk win. Then, they enslave the elves, since they're of the proportionately correct height to pick tea leaves.

I wouldn't worry at all about going over on fiber or protien. Hard to do any damage there.

How 'bout, "broiled in butter" ?

Glad you're doing so well!

I lost 14 pounds in the first 3 weeks, then it started to taper. As you lose weight, your body needs fewer calories to sustain that weight, so calories "in" need to be adjusted accordingly. It's never safe to drop below 1200 calories per day, so once you're close to, or at that point, you'll really notice the weight coming…

If you're only eating 1200 calories a day, I wouldn't re-calculate your goals. It's unsafe to go below 1200 anyway. Stay where you are with your calories, and you'll be fine!

That's awesome dude! You give me hope!

Stretch, stretch, stretch. Point the toe out, then pull the lower leg against the back of the thigh. I've always had shin splints (even from extended walking) and this stretch seems to work the best for me. Do it before your run, then after. You should notice a difference. Also, stay hydrated. Lack of hydration can cause…

I can totally relate. 25 lbs in a month...and...NOTHING. Not a word from friends I hadn't seen in months. I also spent a couple of days wondering "why am I doing this?" Then it occurred to me. I'm doing this for ME! And you should be doing this for YOU! Yes, it's nice to get that reassurance, but it's not necessary. You…
