Not sure there's really anything wrong with weighing yourself daily. In fact, research has shown that those who weigh themselves daily tend to lose more weight that "once-a-weeker's". The key is to make certain you weigh yourself at the same time every day...preferably first thing in the morning after a potty visit. You'll…

You just have to consider how bad you really want to make this change. There are positive triggers as well as negative triggers. Find what motivated you to begin this journey in the first place. Keep your eye on the prize. No one can make you want to do this. You have to dig deep and find something within yourself. Good…

I agree...even chocolate - in moderation.

Got my New Balance Fit model (you wear it like a watch) at Target for $50. Very accurate, too.

Remember the formula for figuring your water needs...drink 1/2 your body weight (in ounces of water). For example... if you weigh 130 lbs. You should be drinking 65 oz (8.1/4 cups) of water daily. If you're 160 lbs, you would need 80 oz (10 cups), etc. Also, cut out ALL ADDED SODIUM.

It busted my plateau!

29 pounds in 7 weeks!

Amen! Pop Chips are awesome!! Lower-cal, less sodium, and recommended by Jillian Michaels!

I got mine at Target for about $50. It's a New Balance Fit model. They also sell the Polar models for a bit more. Very happy with mine, and it's accurate.

I'm gonna live tomorrow like I do every day...like it's my last.

Great job on your success so far. I know what it's like to have a long way to go, but I'm doin' it, brother!! Keep at it!

That's so awesome...inspiring, even!

It has been pretty close for me. But I recognize that this isn't the case for everyone. That being said, I think the "prediction" is really a median guideline. As with any guideline, there are those who fall inside the curve, and those who fall outside the curve. Put them all together and you find your "average." I think…

Nope. The idea is that you are supposed to eat your exercise calories back.

That's awesome! Dropped 2 sizes myself. Keep up the great work. You're really inspiring!
