  • Yep, pretty much always rated at the top or near the top for this reason.
  • Not a morning person, I am a night-owl by nature and love to work out at night. I use to work out from 10-11ish, but now work out from 7-8ish.
  • Just hit the minimum age requirement today, so looks like you've gained a new member! As for myself, I've done a few rounds of P90X and Insanity in the past and am looking to get back into it. I'm currently doing P90X3, so far off to a good start. Looking forward to being a part of the crew!
  • Well, off to a bad start. I tried starting last Sunday (4/1) and got through day 1 just fine. Caught a nasty cold the next day and have spent the past week coughing, combined with my normal allergies, I was too worn out and unable to work out. Still dieted and lost about 2.5 lbs though. Hoping to restart the program this…
  • Hi All - I am starting P90X2 today. I did a round of P90X last April-June and a P90X-Insanity hybrid July-September. Then got really lazy and haven't done much of anything the past six or so months. Hope it's okay to join you guys for support and motivation. Please feel free to add me as a friend. Thanks!
  • LOL, impossible.

  • Bring the workout guide, it lists all the moves for each workout. Don't need the DVDs and I'm sure the hotel's workout room has everything you need.
  • I should clarify a few things. I do cardio exercises (I'm doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid schedule right now) and am a somewhat avid rollerblader (I can easily blade 15 miles). I also don't plan to win the thing, I won't be running a 5 minute mile, I'd be happy to finish in under an hour, but a stretch goal for me is 45…
  • I'm a big fan of the Pure Protein bars. Subscribe and Save on Amazon is the best deal I've found. The Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Smores are all really good.
  • dang! Super nice!
  • I finger tip's worth of Nutella.

  • Incorrect. She didn't die from drinking too much water. She died because she didn't go pee and died from water intoxication. The infamous "hold your wee for a wii" contest.
  • Finally a nice day! Been rainy and cold the past few days. Got out to the Zoo, walked around for a couple hours. Came home, knocked out Chest, Shoulders, Triceps and Ab Ripper. Went out and mowed the lawn for an hour. I have no idea where all this energy came from but even after all that, I still feel good to go. Figure I…
  • I did Kenpo last night and I really felt bored with it. I like the workout a lot but at this point I don't feel even challenged by it. I don't think I hit my max zone heart rate even once. My calorie burn came in at 613 which is till good (don't get me wrong, I was still moving and grooving and sweating a bit), but…
  • No, I just go right into it, but I work out at night after 7 or 8 pm so don't have the time to wait. I'd probably be able to do more reps if if I did wait and build up some energy. Not a bad idea if you have the time to split them up.
  • Good job!
  • Am I the only one who looks in the mirror, sucks in the tummy, flexes the arms and pretends he is a ripped machine of P90X glory? Perhaps I am, but a guy can dream, can't he? Someday, someday....
  • I think I may have said this already, but I officially love Yoga X. So weird to say that considering my low opinion of it the first few weeks. I don't even mind it's 90 minutes, I think it flies by. It's really two 45 segments, so I just look at the timer and think if I can get to the 45 minute mark, it's downhill from…
  • Awesome results and good for you! You're on the home stretch now!
  • Pffffffffffftttttt. RUBBISH. It's one guy's opinion. And he pretty much lost me when he said the focal point of P90X is to develop "ripped abs". It is?? Er, what!? Skimmed the rest and thought it was way off base. Why even mention this article in a message forum to people who have already committed to doing the program?…
  • Yep, I did it. I swigged on a glass of the ole gin ' n tonic. My first drink in about 40 days. I was going to have a glass of wine but I figured once I opened the bottle I'd have to finish it this week. I just wanted one drink. I used diet tonic, no cals there. It tasted really good and i don't regret it. Now I'm off for…
  • Okay, this made me chuckle. Yeah, it hurts at first, mostly for the first week. Yoga still makes me ache to this day, activating muscles I didn't know I had. I guess that's how I know it's still working! Good luck to you.
  • She doesn't drive me crazy like Dominick does, but I know what you mean about the teacher's pet thing, I totally get that. She's just too good at all of this, I like the regular joe's who are actually working hard at this like us, and not super pumped and don't need breaks like her. "This is Dreya, she's a gymnast,…

  • Welcome and good luck to you, looking forward to hearing more about your progess.
  • Plyo is officially my most hated workout. I dread it every week. It just really kicks my butt, which I guess is good, but I can still hate it. As if Monday's weren't bad enough. Plus there is the Dominick thing, I have to look away when they show him, he gets my blood boiling. I think I love the other 6 days of the week…
  • That's great! I can do all of ARX except for the bike and reverse bike, my legs just won't cooperate the whole time, mostly my thighs, they just burn. I ate out Friday (Culvers), Saturday (Chipotle) and Sunday (Bubba Gump's) but tried to pick a heathier food option and I ended up staying close to my daily nutritional goals…
