Hi, Are you diabetic? Have you had your A1C checked? What was the number? Have you had a glucose tolerance test or insulin test? Do you have massive leg cramps that appear not to be related to hydration? Your age and any food allergies would help to know, too. Could be a few other things, too. It may take a while to…

Hey there, Vinyl. Sounds like you are now ready. And of course, it is a mental thing. Most definitely.
-
Awesome! Sounds like you are ready for big changes!
-
Thanks for sharing that story. it's amazing the journey life leads people on. And yes, we tend to quit caring, which is why we self-destruct. Welcome aboard the OMAD train!
-
Great job, man!

30 lbs...no worries at all. I have a bit, but 174 lbs is a lot of weight. Plus, aging doesn't help. A younger person would get tighter quicker. Even now, my skin tightens each year just a little. No worries for you.

Hey, newbs... Welcome!

A like your realism. You are just nursing yourself along. No big expectations. That's the way to go for you. Nothing wrong with that.

Cool. Sometimes, you just get a headache. I've had one for the last three days. I felt terrible. Then it went away, and life is great again! :-p

The problem with "weight loss coaches" is that, yes, fitness has become a craze, a fad of its own, like being "certified" as a life coach at 22 years old. It's a joke that feels serious, but it's unintentionally laughable. If constipation or cramping are not issues with this guy's incarnation of OMAD, then it would be…

Yeah, they aren't saying that anymore since i went out and bought thin-cut clothes like I got today! :-p I've been maintaining since July of 2014, dude!

Use it if you need it, but don't feel obligated. At the one-month marker, you can always try it. By then, you will NOT be knocked off track. Your body won't reverse-adapt in just one day's time.

Hi, Paula. Sounds like you are ripe and ready for great things! Welcome!
-
Your body is becoming fat-adapted, which comes easier for some than others. But it also means that since you have an energy source your body is happy burning, then you naturally don't crave anything to have to tank up on. Keep in that state and you will cruise along pretty steadily to your goal, friend.

And hi, Joanie!
-
Hey, John, welcome!
-
Hey there! Welcome! Provided you are not diabetic or have liver issues, you need to fully convert your body to running on fat storage instead of on sugar. In a week or just over, you should be converted over. Go for a lower-carb OMAD, or else try smaller meals. You may be carb-sensitive, in which case it will be harder for…

So good to hear, Amelia! Keep at it, girl!

Come on, Phase II! Sorry about your having the flu. We've all not felt super around here, but things aren't too bad. More good times!
-
Awww...that is adorable to hear!
-
Welcome, Crunchy! I like your outlook.

Welcome, Whoniverse_Lover! Your story is very touching. I have worked with a number of people in a similar predicament as you are in. Conditioning, especially as a child, is very hard to break. Let me know if you'd like more personalized help. Welcome to the community!!! -Joe

Sounds great. You will refine your strategies as time goes by. Remember, an easy way to do OMAD maintenance is to just add in caloric beverages throughout the day.
-
Nice intro. You are off to a great start! Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Aim to keep things even-keel and your brain will begin to remap itself...all in good time!

Have half a pound of cherries per day. That and the ACV should knock it out.

Welcome, Anneli!
