  • Considering the fact most "personal trainers" are idiots, there's no reason for her to listen to the high school drop out err I mean trainer trying to make her take it. Protein powder is a SUPPLEMENT. It's not a food. It's a cost effective and fast way to get protein but should not be a replacement for…
  • There's nothing wrong with you going over your "suggested" allotments of protein, carbs or sugar especially if its from fruit and such. Just try to eat good sources of these like lean proteins, whole grains and fruits. Your body will adjust and soon you'll be hungry wishing you had 500 extra cals you can eat.
  • Christ... It's said 100000 times but getting a good body starts in the KITCHEN. You are almost never going to out exercise a bad diet. By simply existing and walking around and going to wrk and sitting and sleeping you are burning your Basic Metabolic Rate + some. Are you going to burn (we'll save avg) 2000 cals in your…
  • If your experience of our fast food was KFC and McDonalds its no wonder you were disappointed. Those are the worst of the fast food chains. Anyone remember Hot-n Now? The only time I'll ever eat McDonalds is out of necessity like if I'm travelling and there is really NOTHING else. ANd KFC? Seriously? It's 100% salt and MSG…
  • Its actually much harder to lose those last few pounds than to lose weight when you're really heavy. You should be proud of the last pounds because they don't go away easily as opposed to when you're obese and a modest cut makes the weight drop fast.
  • Sushi in itself is generally pretty low cal. The rolls I've seen range from liek 50 to maybe 85 cals. Save up your cals for the day and eat as much sushi as you want.
  • if you are coming off of years of inactivity its usually suggested to get back into exercising slowly. It really depends on your level of discipline. If you are likely to mentally burn out quickly and return to your old ways then start with working out 3-4 days a week until you can get into a full swing of 5-6 days week.

  • cycle them on high and low days. Replenish your gycogen levels with a refeed once in a while.
  • There's beans (like pinto beans which have protein) as you mentioned. Not to mention besides chicken breast theres lean turkey and lean beef you can get as well. There's also salmon or jumbo shrimp that you can get thats a good source or tuna. Besides that whole grain products like wheat bread and wheat pasta have a decent…
  • york peppermint patties are tasty and pretty low..check the nut. info on em
  • If you haven't seen the South Park episode "Creme Freiche" go to southparkstudios.com and watch it...its so dead on how it portrays the food channel as food porn which is really what it is...you sit there and are like uuuugh look at that steak! or burger or whatever while eating your crappy sandwich and salviating over the…
  • this is a joke right? If this was serious then just because ur under cals doesn't mean its ok to eat 2000 cals in brownies or beer beer may not have fat or sugar (its burned up in the process unless added) and it may not have a lot of carbs or cals (relatively speaking) but alchohol slows metabolism and causes retention…
  • This is the problem people always have because they do things as if their body dumps their 2000 calories (or however many you burn in a day) at exactly 12:00 AM...your body is constantly burning depending on what you are doing. The rate changes based on age, gender, weight metabolism, your exercise level etc. I've read…
  • 3500 is incredibly easy and attainable if you just go on the stationary bike for 600 cals which should take you 45-60 mins which in 6 days burns 3600. At most it should take you 1hr30 mins if you're not in very good shape yet.
  • it's probably the crap in your cupboard that you've long thought was "food"...drink water instead of soda...eat low fat meats and whole grains...its actually difficult to get enough calories when you eat better food
  • obvious answer...do both? Eat lean low fat meats and proteins and cut back carbs and eat whole grain carbs...

  • It is so dificult with the food out there to not go over your daily allowance of sodium...but ya just dont eat a lot of them. The biggest issue is ..salt ya..and it just being full of processed crap. If you see 1000 ingredients on there that you don't recognize or hydrogenated this or that don't get it...if it has 30 g of…
  • Unless he's an employee, get over it. Was it classless and inappropriate for him to send you and email about how he was mentally undressing you? Of course, but guys do it constantly at the gym and while girls pretend to hate it they really don't like it when one day it stops. My suggestion is becfore blowing something up…
