For me, Ripped in 30 worked to get rid of back fat and love handles. It also gave me some sweet looking arms and shoulders. I even had a random woman at a beer tent (this summer while I was wearing a tank top) tell me she loved my biceps...Okay, it was a kind of awkward compliment, but still a compliment!

But the ratings are high because these people lose weight fast with their "celeb" trainers. Running burns calories way faster than walking, and so they run. It might not be right, but there are a lot of things not right about the show.

That is truly awesome! Way to go! My mom just turned 61 and has been inspired to run about 1/4 of a mile every once in a while. I'm definitely gonna share your success with her! Keep up the great work!

I did 40 on Friday and realized my legs were gonna be hurting come sat and on Saturday I had to run 12 miles for my half marathon training. So I stopped at 40. However, today I did 100 per leg with 5lb weights. I'm just hoping to be able to walk tomorrow!!

I definitely want to get my BF% checked out. I had it checked out years ago when I was working out at Curves, but I don't currently belong to a Curves. It's been over 5 years since I have had checked out! Sounds like something I definitely need to look into! Thanks

I agree with trilikeagirl...don't do anything out of the normal. Your breakfast on race day should be the same things your body is used to. Having stomach issues during a 5k is no fun! Make sure to hydrate yourself the day before and morning of the race. Have fun and best of luck!

I think losing inches is definitely okay. I think that the closer you get to your goal weight the harder it is to lose pounds. Is your goal weight based on your height and body type?
