You've done awesome Britt and have gone so hard for the last year and I think you need to just back down a little bit. Like the others said, change your goal to 1 pound a week and see what it does to your calorie limit. Your body is more efficient now than it used to be and will burn more now so I wouldn't worry about it…

Congrats on your journey so far. I have a group on facebook at www.facebook.com/moveitandloseit where we do a weekly weigh in and try to share tips if you'd like to participate, we'd love to have ya.

I'm 5'2" and currently at 132 pounds. You can look thru my profile photos if you would like. The rest of my weight loss photos can be seen on facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.466569939611.265026.584279611&l=4a664a4a14&type=1 I am a small/medium shirt and 4/6 pants. Best of luck to you!

I've had problems losing my hair too but seems no matter what I've changed, that part doesn't change. Anyway, I'm at goal weight now but spent a year on my journey losing my weight. I do however currenlty have a weight loss group page on Facebook where we all support eachother and there's quite a few in there still looking…

I would so love to have that done...I mean, I'd rather have loose skin in my tummy than have it pushed out from all the fat underneath but it groses me out when i do pushups and I can see the skin hanging down there...lol Best of luck you!!!

That's such a wonderful picture, both of them...but you look so healthy now. Congratulations on your successes!

Very well said. I always tell everyone, slow and steady. Set reasonable goals and just stick with it. Besides, the slower you lose it and let your body adjust over time, the better the chance of it staying off.

I love those NSV's...way to go girl!!!
-
I really think it should read "Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels"...you can be skinny and still very very unhealthy. I have a sister in law who is 5'2" and 105 pounds and always bragging about eating entire pizza's, chili burgers and large milkshakes...I'd hate to see what an MRI of her insides looks like.

I haven't used one but I give my 3 year old daughter piggy back rides during my evening walk sometimes and when I wear my heart rate monitor it shows I burn more when I carry her. She weighs 34 pounds. Theoretically, the more you weigh, the more caloreis you burn so I wish you the best of luck!

What an inspiration you are. Thank you so much for sharing your story! Best of luck on the rest of your journey!

Haha...no kidding! Best of luck to ya girl!

Way to go!

I've seen "home gym" things at walmar that's just a small compliation of bands and stuff that you fix to your door in the home, you could try that. Far as workout DVD's...if you have room where your computer is at, you could play the DVD's in the privacy of that room so the neighbors aren't watching ya in the living room.…

not 1lbs a week...only 1 lbs in 3 weeks lost! [/quote] Sometimes, after you lose a lot (6 pounds at first) it will take your body to adjust to that loss before you lose steadily again. average for me is 2 to 6 pounds a month. Good luck!

I'm also at 5'2" and weigh now 134 and goal of 125 and I eat close to 1200 a day. You can also view my diary if you want. I think the best thing you can do is take it a week at a time. Mix up your calories and your workouts and change one thing at a time till you find what works. For me, it seems I lose best when I take it…

I'm 5'2" and now weight 134 but when I eat fewer than 1200 calories, I don't lose till I eat around 1300. It also depends on how much excercise I get in for the day though. You need to just do a week of eating fewer calories and working out, then the following week, eat more calories but try to mimic the same workouts as…

Go with the goal. When they set your goal for you, it tells you what you plan to lose each week. That goal should give you the deficit of calories to equal the weight you want to lose. We have to have a deficit of 3500 calories for 1 pound. Good luck to you!
-
That's trully amazing!!! Way to go!

At 5'1" and 114.8 pounds, you're BMI is at 21.7 which is perfectly healthy...is there a reason you're wanting to lose weight?
-
Absolutely...the more the merrier. We have about 244 people who have "liked" our page but about 30 to 40 participate in the Friday weigh in. I really enjoy it because it helps keep us all accountable.
-
You can add me if you'd like...I also have a group on Facebook at www.facebook.com/moveitandloseit where we help support eachother, share recipes, and do a weekly Friday weigh in if you'd like to join us, you're more than welcome.

Very very cool...keep it up!
-
I always look at the whole picture...quality is as important if not more important that quantity...I'm almost always over on protein. You just gotta find what works for you. Good luck girl.
-
Thank you for sharing this...great info!
-
Go with your newer accurate scale and take the gain now and be done with it and throw the old one in the trash so there's no more second guessing. Anytime I've seen anyone buy a new scale, there's always a small increase. Its best to deal with it now then later though. Good luck!
-
Yes, you can...you can drink so much that you flush too much sodium from your body. As long as you drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day, you're doing great!
-
First, congrats on getting restarted...second, going public with it really helps you stay on track. I've hit a point several times that I'd walk a couple months and lose 10 pounds, then stop and gain it back, + 5 or so...this time, I went public with it, posted my successes and failures on facebook for my family and…
