I think you need to lose 180 more pounds (or however much he weighs). First & foremost, you have to be fit & healthy for yourself. His rude opinion is insensitive and reeks of jealousy and insecurity.

How long have you been on MFP? 180 days (I know my ticker is wrong because I missed a day in there) How many calories a day do you eat without exercise calories? I aim for 1500-1700. Do you eat your exercise calories? Hell yes!!!!!

I try to focus on what the actual foods can do for our bodies when I talk nutrition with my girls-carbs will give you energy, protein will help you stay strong, fruits and vegetables will keep you well and help you have nice hair, dairy will keep your bones strong, etc. They play outside most days, but they would love it…

Bwahahaha! Thanks! Maybe my arms are just predisposed to have muscles? When I first started seriously exercising (pre kids), I'd run for 20 min, do my light weight arm routine one day, and a 20 min. pilates video the next. That was it. I saw more improvement from those 5 pounders than any other thing. After kids, I joined…

What size weights do you have? I started with 5 pounders and just did everything I could think of-bicep curls, overhead triceps, tricep kickbacks, shoulder raises(front & side), overhead presses, upright rows, flies, etc.. I did at least 20 reps of each exercise. I have increased my weights to 10-15 pounds for most of the…

Fantastic! Congrats!

I found a brand new Turbofire set (with all supplies) on craigslist. I think you can also do beachbody workouts online for free.

Amazing Mamas! I was much heavier before I even had kids, lost the weight, had 3, and lost the weight after each one. My stomach is a work in progress. I still have to tuck my shirt in whenever I have to do planks in class and have that poochy skin that refuses to budge. But hey-it looks okay when I'm standing up now. :)

Fabulous progress!

What a victory! Congrats!

I lift free weights 2 times each week. 7.5 for shoulder lifts, 15 lbs. for biceps, flys, and triceps, 10-12.5 for everything else. Gotta get a weight routine for my legs though. Any advice would be great.

I have a camelback and it holds 64 oz. It also has a couple of small pockets (enough to hold a cell & asthma meds, keys, etc..) I bought it at Costco for $20 last year. I think they have them this year too.

You climbed a volcano! Incredible! Thanks for taking us along for the climb. So beautiful and meaningful.

I'm right there with you. I went to workout this morning, but the rest of the day I was shot. Lots of ibuprofen, a heating pad, and rest.

What a difference! Rock on, Mama!

Great read on plateauing http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/501511-great-read-on-plateau-ing?page=8#posts-7150335 These statements were a real eye opener for me- You may need to consume more calories if: · You exercise regularly (4+ times per week), strength train 2-3 times per week, and are on a calorie-restricted…

You are doing incredible! Congrats!

The calculator is designed for you to lose weight without any additional exercise. If you exercise, you should eat back most, if not all of those calories. A lifestyle change shouldn't be miserable so please drink your wine now & again-just work it into your daily allowance. Do you have a heart rate monitor? I think that…

You look fab! Way to lift it, lady!
