Yes. I am not getting credit for exercise calories on MFP though it is reflecting steps I've taken today in a bar below my diary (which is new to me), but even that isn't accurate; and no exercise credit for those steps. I've been on hiatus for about a month. Did something change? Or just the usual maddening synch issues?

Down another half pound this morning! Though I did ratchet down my calorie intake to get there.

I'm not logging exercise through MFB and am using a FitBit. And I think it's more of what I'm eating and not how much. I've been merely counting calories and exercising more. I am being very accurate with my food log. I ride horses 4 to 5 days a week, weather permitting and am outside moving, a lot. Have started climbing…

I've lost just 4lbs in about as many weeks but I have been eating most of my exercise calories back and I think that is what is stalling further weight loss. I haven't lost anything in just over a week now. Haven't gained either though at least.

LOL! Well maybe not this, but those Cadbury Royal Dark Mini Easter Eggs I ate last night were pretty much da bomb.
-
Point202, that was definitely it. Other than 10 calories I lost between the time I completed my entry and went to bed, there was no other calorie loss over night. Thanks so much as THAT was driving me nuts! Happy Easter everyone!

Excellent point and thanks as my MFP setting was set on Pacific when I am in the eastern time zone. :flowerforyou:

Yes, that's where I just found out that I cannot eat my surplus calories and need to allow about a 200 calorie cushion to keep from waking up to a calorie deficit which is not a great way to start the day.
-
It's not the Fitbit negative calorie adjustment as I turned that off yesterday. I went to bed again with a 12 calorie surplus and woke up again with a approx. 200 calorie deficit which is INFURIATING! It apparently has something to do with how MFP is projecting my calorie burn and how FB is recording it, and it's tripping…

I've always had calorie estimation off and do not utilize the food plan option so I don't think that's it.
-
And I may turn it back on but it has made me wary of consuming up to or near my daily net calorie goal for fear I'll wind up going over by the time it's all said and done.
-
Except for the end-of the-day calorie yank, I've been very happy with the feedback of the Fitbit synched with MFP. Instant gratification and very motivational.
-
Got it. Thanks.
-
Yes it's back. Yay! I logged out and back in. Thanks.

And why won't my ticker show up!?

Mine is set to inactive since I have a desk job. I am active early mornings and evenings during the week; all day, most days on the weekend.
-
Which is why I turned it off. I ate at 6:00 pm then at 6:30 went outside to ride and take care of the horses and didn't get back in until about 8:40 and then just relaxed until going to be at 10:30. The only thing I consumed before going to bed was 1 cup of water, and it yanked back 193 calories after that. I have SO…

Horseback riding is my saving grace at least so if anything, this project is giving me the incentive to ride more. I can burn 300 calories in a good schooling ride which helps, a lot.

Yes, I turned off the negative calorie adjustment and that should help. I was coming in under because I had noticed the surplus erosion a few times so wanted the breathing room. Now that I've solved that mystery, when I've got a surplus I'll feel more comfortable rewarding myself with a few more calories to consume. Thanks…
-
No, it went from a 199 surplus to just 6. I did go back and look at the net calorie adjustment feature with Fitbit and it is a projection which I have disallowed. Will see what difference that makes. Kind of a kick in the pants to end the day feeling good about coming in under my goal only to see that margin drastically…

More lean protein, less carbs and sugar. I have a vicious sweet tooth so indulging that had to go and substituting fruit. I was actually eating pretty well but needed to portion control. I've pretty much given up sodas to just one a week, if that, substituting water or low calorie gatorade. Only allowing myself wine when I…

1200 NET calories is my daily goal but I am exercising so am consuming more than 1200 but realizing 1200 or just under as my net goal for a targeted loss of 1 - 2lbs per week. So far, so good. I just keep telling myself that slow and steady wins the race.
-
That must be it. Is there any downside to disallowing negative calorie adjustments?

Every morning after I pee but before I eat. Drives me nuts but I do it.
