This is so inspirational, I'm bumping for later...

That's fantastic! Looking good. So modest with your "99.8" - I'd call that a 100 pound loss in 2013 :-)

Fantastic journey! Thank you for posting at the 50 lb mark instead of waiting to reach your ultimate goal, it is so helpful. I loved the way you put the photos with what was happening in your life/weight at the time. Truly inspiring! Best of luck on tackling the last bit to lose...

You make it look so easy, 12! Can't wait to hear how the next phase goes for you. I know you'll be successful and continue to inspire us all ;-)

That is amazing! And you're doing so well with the running too!

Count me in. I find the passion for cooking works well for me at home - always want to try new things and have the tools (digital scale) to make it work for me. The problem for me is wanting to try every new restaurant and tasting menu my eyes behold...but the thread is about cooking, so I won't dwell on my issues outside…

Thank you for sharing. Those are some powerful photos. Tragic story. Congratulations to you on reaching your SWAT goal. Great transformation!

I thought JBS was a mythical figure, like Sasquatch. But I just got The Email. I'm not even a crossfitter per se, only joined this group today as I went to a free intro session over the weekend and am thinking of joining the 6-session intro program.

Not only is yours an amazing transformation, but your well-written recap of your journey was so inspiring and a pleasure to read. I am definitely going to check out the blog you linked to as well. Congratulations on your success and breakthroughs!

That's incredible! Congrats to you. Amazing dedication.

Fantastic!

Well done!

I finished over the weekend - 30 minutes straight. It felt good! All last year I trained for distance, using walk/run intervals. Having completed the C25k, I'd like to continue running 3x per week and work on getting stronger/faster.

You look great! Well done. You looked so unhappy in those Befores.

Thanks for sharing this. Your story really resonated and I loved your lessons learned and shared! Congrats!

Congrats! You look so healthy and happy. How tall are you and what changes did you make in terms of diet/exercise? I need your secrets lol.

You look incredible. Love the action shot running!

I think Stage 3 is my fave so far (esp B, I always seem to prefer B). Biggest surprise, I love that 1-arm db snatch. The 1st time I was stressed as I'd forgotten to print out that page (I schlep printouts around the gym & take my notes all over, e.g. how many times I had to come out of plank grrr.), but I did a quick…

Well done! Are you following any particular program or workout?

I finished stage 1 today, starting stage 2 sometime next week. I think Sunday I will go to the gym and just walk through the new moves, then stat next week. How long is your workouts in stage 2? At the moment I go to the gym before work, I'm thinking I may need to start going after work. It does seem to take longer. I…

Fantastic! You can tell you've lost quite a bit of fat. Great that you're tracking those fitness milestones, too!

I just started Stage 2! (One A done, first B today. I've got all my photocopies from the book at the ready!) I think since there are only 4 workouts each in this Stage, it's not as long a thread as some of the others. My goal this week with starting Stage 2 is just to figure out the moves (and mapping out my progress…

Wow, love Lou! What a great story, thanks for sharing. As someone who took almost 6 months of fits and starts and do-overs to get through Stage 1, I'm happy to report I'm starting Stage 2 today! Hopefully I can keep some momentum going forward...

I've loved every flavor tried of Power Crunch bars. They have wafers in them and taste like a fancy candy bar, so delicious (for real, versus "it's good - for a protein bar"). They have 13g-14g protein per bar and are generally 200 cals. Very satisfying. http://www.powercrunch.com/original/

He's Reserves now. Prior to going off to FMF he did a bunch of PT at home to get up to Marine standards, so my home gym already has a pull-up bar. Now to build the rest of it...

Funny - I just posted this in the general fitness area of the boards recently. A lot of good responses. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/744479-hey-lifters-what-s-in-your-home-gym NavyDentalChic - love your pic, my husband's a Navy Corpsman.

Fantastic - looks great. Doesn't seem to take up too much space either. Thanks for posting the photo!

That is awesome! Do you live in a gym lol? Rock on!

Oh...interesting idea to use the saw horses as squat rack. I'd never heard that before.
