Hi. Thanks for sharing! Great to see your results and great job! Check out Ernestine Shepherd on youtube. Her weight lifting results are well.....best to see for yourself:smile: I didn't get the name down there but thanks for the heads up about strong lifts and simple strength! I've had a lapse and I am back to healthier…

OMgosh! Don't think I have ever seen her arms - boy! hmmm, is that just being skinny?

Hello! I did the same thing you did - lost some weight, stopped this and gained it back- so, here I am again  I'm glad for MFP because it helps me track what I am eating. I"m changing my diet, eating lots of veggies and fish! Also bought some EAS soy protein drink and Fit Frappe - and I enjoy both of those- they…

Congratulations! I know that was a brave step.

Hi Mrs Davis, I have just returned -minutes ago- after being gone for a year. I want to lose 35 pounds! I figure if I can say it enough it will sink in and keep me focused. I go down 10 - 15 pounds and then come back up. I hate it! Hate myself even. I just saw my last measurements and I hope that I am not bigger but…

I just came back to myfitnesspal and I want in on this. thanks!

Congratulations! This is my first time on here in months so I'm really happy to see your success! I began, did ok, then plateaud, then took a dive.. but, I look at it like this..it's better to start over than not start at all.

Hi Marnie, I've been on here and then took a several months long break. And during that break, I didn't watch my diet..all the wrong stuff. However, recently began again :) Starting over is better than not starting at all.

I recently was given the coconut cream pie one this past week and it was hummmphl. Not all that, try the Atkins bars, I eat the chocolate coconut alot and they are only about 170 calories, also the Balance bars are a great choice too. I like them better than the Larabar and since I count my calories that additional 50…

Thanks for this information because I had the exact question but someone else explained it much better than I. So, thanks to the both of you. I don't really understand the comment that MFP underestimates the two caloric numbers though.

O YAY! Keep going! Your results are impressive! I took about a month off--didn't intend to but, that's how it worked out. Thanks for sharing because I am using the "umph" to begin again.

Hello, perhaps I missed some of what you wrote but how many calories were you eating before? How come you decided on that number? See how it works you can always adjust it. My allottment is 1200 c. a day.But every so often I will drop it down to 1000 c a day and do some extra exercises and this sort of "rewires" me. I…

I live in Chouteau, OK. It's small but bigger cities are within driving distance. The neatest thing about this place is that, and my dog and I just did this, walk 2 blocks (walking because it's dark) to Main street and jog/walk back and forth for my jog. It's nice! well lit, few, if any traffic.

Go with 30DS! You can't beat the price for the work out and just keep the volume down. Even joining a gym-which I don't belong to- 30DS is a great very affordable program. I've been to the rec center gym and even had a personal trainer before - 30DS is a great deal-use it :flowerforyou:

sounds great to me. I'm 5'4, older but I want to be in 120s

just be good to yourself, rest and come back stronger. :smokin:

I love the kettlebell. It makes me sweat. The other answer about the HRM is best.
-
congratulations!! Reminds me that I am teetering getting out of the red zone on the BMI graph and into the white.

Welcome to MFP! Well, I have tried HCG for a few months about two years ago. I did not have the drastric and fast weight loss. My HCG was in with a B12 shot and that was another good reason to take the shot. But, my biggest plus about taking the shot was this---mentally, knowing that I had paid for a shot to "help" me shed…

Absolutely! I've had 5 kids and nursed all five of them! Get Jillian's 30 Day Shred, or shed, can't recall because I just log it as 30DS--it cost $10. at walmart. That and motivation will carry you a long way and it only takes 30 minutes. Honest.

Congratulations! And the black dress gets my vote--it really dresses up your figure!:flowerforyou:

Wonderful you! Thank you for sharing your journey-mine is slow but I will get there.:drinker:

Nice. I didn't know that it was that difficult to gain muscle so thanks for the info. I'm glad to get rid of fat for starters. I think people say that comment about building muscle because it's just such a common comment to make. Thanks again for the information though. :flowerforyou:
