I resisted the urge to take the can of whipped cream we have in the fridge and put some on top of my protein shake this morning!! o:)

JFT - 3/19/2016 1. I'm going to run my c25k 2. I'm going to avoid bingeing, which I've fallen prey to these past three days :(

Today I am grateful for the support of my partner - who helped me get out the door to do my run, even though my mind, the rain, and a lot of other excuses were holding me back.

Thanks :)

Today I am grateful for the ability to take the good with the bad, and know that the latter doesn't have to ruin the former. Happy Sunday!

Today I am grateful for my family, on both mine and my SO's side.

Today I am grateful for blueberries. That's right - blueberries. I bought myself a bag of frozen blueberries the other day at Trader Joe's and put them in my green smoothie this morning. To say the very least it was amazing and really set the tone for me today. :)

Today I am grateful for my job, and project team, of whom I am the manager. My job allows for a lot of flexibility regarding teleworking, which in turns allows me to support my boyfriend's sister and her new baby and I don't have to take paid time off.

Same here - this is really reassuring!

Today I am grateful for a good night's rest. Yesterday was extremely stressful for me, but really am grateful to be able to wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

This is definitely not uncommon. As many have recommended, don't eat 2 to 3 hours before class if possible. Second, get really, really hydrated. The asanas cause you to impact blood flow (inversions, etc.) so being hydrated will help counterbalance some of the weirdness you might be feeling in your stomach. Also, I'd pay…

I always go with a treat meal, rather than an entire day. By making the "cheat" a single treat meal you can limit negative impacts while still really enjoying yourself so you can refuel your willpower to continue your calorie cutting in the future. I do a small treat (no more than 600 calories) once a week to keep me going…

SO COOL!

JFT 1. I'm going to enjoy my one treat food, a pint of Halo Top icecream, without guilt. 2. I'm going to complete D3W2 of my Couch to 5K program 3. I'm going to join my boyfriend at the slow yin flow yoga class he asked me to attend with him

I've always had issues with weight since I was a child, and a lot of my issues with food come down to the subconscious connections my mind made about food and my feelings from that period in my life. I was bullied a lot as a child because of a speech impediment and my extremely shy behavior. The bullying was especially…

JFT I'm going to cut myself off from eating anything else for a few reasons... 1. I'm not actually hungry, I just want to eat things to eat things 2. By doing so I can remain relatively on track for the rest of the day 3. I'll really be able to enjoy the treat meal I'm planning for myself after weigh-in

That's amazing!

No offense taken, you're right. I just kind of started without much thought. And I love pickles! Anything that gives me a reason to indulge in more pickles is for me! I'll be sure to do more research and figure out how to get over "keto-flu".

So I hear you on that, and will definitely log the advice for later implementation. My concern is that adding sodium isn't necessarily heart healthy...is there another way to get electrolytes back? I feel like this question is very pedestrian, but I appreciate your help!

So the first thing I noticed was the fact that your icon is Petyr Baelish - HOW CAN I TRUST YOUR ADVICE!? WHAT ARE YOU PLOTTING?! #totallykidding

Today I am grateful for coffee with a little bit of sugar-free hazelnut syrup. Yum, yum! Happy Tuesday everyone. :)
-
I just added you, OP! I'm always looking for new MFP friends with whom I can share support. :)

Girl you've got this! :)

Today I am grateful for the really beautiful weather! It's ridiculously gorgeous out that I have all the windows in my condo wide open - spring is almost here!!!

This is really helpful advice. I'd add that you should take it one moment at a time. Start by setting the goal of, "I'm going to log my breakfast!" then log everything that you eat/drink and go from there. It breaks down what seems what seems like an insurmountable task, getting back on track, into small and manageable…

Go you! Seriously, those adorable tiny people with their delicious sugar bombs are the biggest struggle for me during my weekly commute. It feels like there's a troop stationed outside of every Metro stop...So far I've managed to resist...I can't wait for cookie season to be over.

MFP friends are great! I'm experimenting with new recipes too and am always willing to share. :)

I have a check up with my doctor in a few weeks, so I'll talk to her about this. I did have asthma as a kid, so maybe? At the very least better to eliminate that as a reason, rather than hope it isn't.
