  • I use MapMyWak and it syncs to MFP as soon as I finish and save the workout. I don't remember how I set it up but I know there's a way to.
  • I've lost 40 pounds so far and I'm still wearing the exact same pants. It's a litle frustrating however I have noticed that my pants fit me so much differently now! They actually fit me instead of being tight and having to lay on the bed to button them! I had apparently been wearing the wrong size pants for quite a while.…
  • This ^^^ Pull up the chart and show them where they fall for their height and weight. Then show them where they fall for their height and weight. It's probably pretty similar. Then show them where you would be if you were 120 pounds. They may need the visual to see that what's healthy for them is not the same as what's…
  • A friend told me I HAD to do this diet for two weeks before my wedding. I thanked her for the advice and moved on with my life. It sounded like a terrible idea. As she explained it to me it was a little different (fruits were specifically strawberries and watermelon) but yeah, same idea. She said she's used it in the past…
  • I'm actually having cauliflower pizza for dinner tonight! I found through trial and error of course that you do not need to cook the cauliflower. I put it through the food processor raw. The heat of the oven cooks the cauliflower just fine and there's no water to squeeze out! So much easier and less time consuming!
  • I was diagnosed with gastroparesis about 7 years ago. For me the diagnosis was accompanied with 11 hosiptal admissions over a 5 month period while the doctors tried to get things under control. It was terrible. I lost 50 pounds in 2 months because I was terrified of eating. And of course depression set in BIG time!…
  • I just tried their BBQ sauce, the original, and it wasn't bad. Not my favorite but not bad. I have a bottle of the Thick and Spicy that I haven't tried yet. Also I've used their sugar free orange marmalade to make orange chicken and that turns out really good! But that's all I've used that for. I haven't tried it on its…
  • I'm 28 years old and started at 226 pounds. I'm down to 193 as of this morning! I'll send you a request
  • Weren't you flirting with a guy at the bar? No wonder the women weren't interested!
  • Believe me I understand that! I don't live with my parents anymore but I do know how you feel. I would still be happy to support you!
  • When I was litle my mom had a special toy drawer for us when she needed to make important or business type phone calls. We only got to play with those toys during that time. If we interrupted her call for something not safety related or life threatening the toys were taken away and we spent the rest of the call in time…
  • 882! It was the next day that I went a little crazy!
  • I got mine last night. I started taking them this morning. I'm going to try taking one for a week or so and see if that's enough or if I do need two. I want to start at one that way I can keep the carbs down, if possible.
  • Just an FYI I went to Costco to get the gummies today and they're on rebate for $4 off through July 6th  Wanted to share in case anyone else was interested.
  • I will be looking for those on my next trip to Costco! Thanks for sharing!
  • So I decided to Google this today, not sure why I never thought of it before but this is what I found... http://www.medifastblog.com/2013/09/13/8-tips-to-help-you-adjust-to-a-new-diet/ One of the things it said in there was that blending your meals can cause extra gas. That might be the cause of my problem because I've…
  • I may have to try that. I've been staying within the 10-30 grams that TSFL says you're allowed to have but if upping it is going to help with the constipation I have a feeling that the extra fat won't effect my weight since I'll be losing a little more!
  • I don't know if you choose to eat fish or not, I know lots of vegetarians that do and lots that don't. If you do eat fish you could try ordering some grilled fish. Ask the restaurant to not put any sauces on it, which adds tons of calories. If you do not eat fish, I'm honestly not sure. I wish I had some better answers for…
  • Ok, this settles it. I've been curious about starting deadlifting but I can't get into a gym until the beginning of September. I can't change the start date on the gym, but I can make sure I start deadlifting as soon as I get in there! Thanks for sharing this!
  • I am so glad I'm not alone! I started mixing Miralax in with my food to help with constipation because I had that problem too. It does help, but doesn't relieve it completely. This may just be something we have to deal with unfortunately :grumble: because it's not worth it to me to quit just because of some smelly gas!
  • I know this post is almost a year old but I wanted to thank the OP. I am not Muslim and obviously will not be participating in Ramadan but I learned so much about your culture and religion. I had a friend that observed Ramadan and she explained it to me a little but this had much more information. So thank you for sharing…
  • I've lost 27 pounds and I'm still wearing all the same pants. What I have noticed is how much better they fit me. They aren't as snug, the don't leave marks on me anymore and I don't have to lay down on the bed to button and zip them. I really had no idea how poorly my pants fit me before I started losing weight. Yes I'm…
  • Thank you so much for sharing that Joy! I have no excuse not to get off my butt and walk today so that's what I'm going to do. Congrats on your amazing transformation!
  • All I can say to this is WOW!!!!!!!!!! Brian you have done an amazing job! You are living proof that changing a lifestyle can be done. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey so far with us. I am sure you will inspire many people that are ready to quit. Best of luck to you as you continue to progress. And Jackie sounds…
  • I think everyone is a little riled up from the posts that have been going on in the last couple of days... "5 bite diet", "So you want to drop fat and lose weight rapidly", etc. I feel bad for anyone that posts something like this today because everyone is so on guard for more garbage. Good luck with what you're trying OP.…
  • I agree that's its more than likely a scale issue. I do want to say, don't give up! I know how devastating it can be to work so hard and not see the results or even see the opposite. Don't let it get you down though. Keep up what you're doing and if you can, get a new scale. Then you can beat the old one with a bat if it…
