Hi, I disappeared and now I'm back. Two vacations, a devastating loss, final course to complete my masters, family issues and the list goes on. My journey should've been the first thing I was thinking about but it didn't even make the list. No excuses. Will pick up where I left off and hope that by the end of this…

@amsdragonfly, Thanks and you're so right. The more days passed the more I didn't feel up to it. I then realized that I was following the same pattern I always did. Vacation would be the end of my journey. Getting sick didn't help at all. But I successfully made it through yesterday. Today I have the same goal and I'm not…

I ate like crazy on vacation and today is the first day I feel better. I decided I'd eat whatever I wanted while on vacation and as soon as I get home I'd get on track. Well, that was on again off again. Staying on track has been harder than expected. Today I started off with a made up mind and my goal is to get through…

I'm back. After a 2 week vacation and then 2 weeks of the flu or whatever it was, I'm finally back. Still feeling crappy but it's time to take control. I'm 5 lbs heavier than I was before I left for vacation and feeling like a hot mess. Today I recommit to the journey and reaching my goal by Feb 2016.

On vacation and my mother in law doesn't have a scale. This is driving me crazy especially since I'm eating more than I have in over 2 months. Hopefully I'll find one soon. If not, I'll post next week.
-
My condolences. Be encouraged and know that you can do it again.

Wow! I never thought I'd see this post. I'm in Abu Dhabi. I wouldn't mind taking part in an occasional group walk. I'm out of town for a couple of weeks but let me know if you're interested to start sometime after Sept. 17th. I'm down 10 kilos and have 20 more to go. We can do it, THIS TIME.
-
Hang in there. Depending on how much you want/need to lose, you might not see 15. I want to lose 70 and I didn't see a change until I lost 20 lbs. In my mind 10-15 was supposed to look a certain way. I took a picture of my face and compared it to an earlier picture and could see a difference. I also tried on a pair of…

Feel free to send me a friend request. We can do it, THIS TIME.

Keep up the great work everyone. Some of you are losing record weight; i.e., 13+ lbs in 3 weeks. Are you on a specific plan? I'm hovering and it's driving me crazy but the journey continues.

Attending my first Zumba class in about 3 years and 30 strength training.

What a transformation. You are definitely a poster MFP for all of us. Great focus.

@rbrady79, after putting my numbers in their system, the trainer at work suggested I eat 1500-1600 calories. I made the change a few days ago and I've gained weight. It's a bit scary because I wanted to continue losing until I left for my vacation next week. Definitely did not want to gain a lb. At 1200 at least I had a…

Will post weight tomorrow. At a trainer's recommendation I switched from 1200 to 1500 calories this week and my scale is all over the place. A couple of days after the change I dropped 0.40 and today I'm up 0.60. I think my body is adjusting and it's not an adjustment phase I hoped for. I'll weigh in tomorrow. If I don't…

You look amazing. Congrats! Your story is very interesting because my immunity has been low for the past 4-5 months. Before starting the change to healthier eating and moving, I was 218. I'm slightly anemic and vitamin D deficient. A few weeks ago I was given an injection of 300,000 mg of vit D. I chose the injection…

You all are crushing this challenge. I'm eating 900-1200 calories a day and walking every day. On average I lose lose 1-1.5 lbs a week. Are you all working out for hours or what?
-
@gtrell1991, told you not to worry. I checked and someone already updated your number. We'll take care of the updates.
-
@gtrell1991, I got you. If it's not already updated. If you want me to post your weekly weigh-in, I'm happy to do so. Just send me a message to make sure I don't miss it in this thread. If you don't send a message, I'm sure I or someone else will catch it in the thread. You're not leaving!
-
That's amazing. What are both of you doing. On average I'm losing 1-1.5 lbs a week. This is on a caloric deficit and walking almost everyday. Please share.
-
A clear difference. Congrats on losing 45. Keep up the great work.
-
You're right. Great job. After I drop 70, I'll be happy if I'm half as toned as you are. Keep up the great work.
-
Let me add, my post is not about total restriction. It's about gaining control. We should enjoy what we want in moderation. But if you're not eating them in moderation, you, like I have to figure out how to control ourselves. That's the outcome I'm looking for. For instance, last week at work there was a baby shower.…

You might now want to hear this but you already know what you have to do. Keep them out of sight and if possible for a while, out of the house. I too am a sugar addict. As much as I wanted to tell myself that I could control myself around them, early on I admitted I could not. I found myself in an internal war with myself…

The formula to total is not correct. I inserted a formula in my row but it's not the right one to calculate the entire row of entries.
-
Great job and you look awesome.
-
I like what @queenliz99 said. Dang! Great results.
-
Great!

@RetaRoo65, I did but if you want to be buddies, I'd be happy to have you as one. I still have such a long way to go. Some days I don't feel like the planning or working out but I know I have to do it, THIS TIME. I need all the motivation I can get.
-
Thanks, @RetaRoo65. I will do that with every meal except when I have a cheesesteak. That has so many calories that I don't want to add any more with the veggies. But I will stick to eating half.

You rock! Congrats for everything it took to be where you are now. Wishing you the best as you continue the journey. You are an inspiration and proof that we can do whatever we put our minds to. Even if it requires getting help. Commendable.
