get a heart rate monitor and use it vs choosing anything on here. It will be more accurate.

fibromyalgia here, too. After a lot of researching, I found something that said to avoid processed foods. I started there and noticed that some of the pain had lessened, and lost 4 lbs without trying much. Then my daughter told me about MFP. I joined and really started eating healthier and exercising daily, even through…

5'5" here. I have lost 31 total (4 before MFP) and have 18 to reach my first goal.

Here I am...final week! Week 13! Very hard to believe!

Welcome back!

108 sticks of butter or 5.4 sacks of potatoes. That would be how many pots of mashed potatoes? lol

Thank you!!

Just finished week 11....two more weeks left! :drinker:

Has anyone done 30 day shred? Any thoughts on doing that after finishing JMBR? I am getting close to the end and need to have something in place. Thanks!

hmm...never heard of Walden Farms and I am going to pretend I never did lol

I agree about feeling stronger. I was so out of shape when I started. Ugh! My lower back hurt so bad, I thought I needed traction LOL But.....ta da! I am officially done with workouts 9&10!
-
I've been doing the workouts like the plan says (first workout, second workout, cardio, repeat, then rest day)...but I had Monday off from work and got all screwed up on my days and did workout 9 on Monday, cardio yesterday and workout 10 today. Oh well. I did them. Burned 314 Monday, 326 yesterday and 310 today. One more…

you probably laughed a workout  lol

Great job on the workout, WordWhimsy! I am not doing so great on my diet either this week  Candy keeps calling my name. Gonna try harder tomorrow.

Good job! I am starting my last week of WO's 9 & 10, and getting nervous about 11 & 12 next week. No weight loss the past two weeks, I am really hoping that starts happening again. I am burning over 300 calories per workout on 9, 10 and cardio 3, so it should??
-
Great job!! You got this! One day at a time  And to answer your other question about following her diet...I am not, but staying around 1200, higher protein, lower carbs. I used an average of what the plan allows.
-
Thank you!! And yes, I am noticing results! I've lost 13 lbs, 1 inch loss in (each) waist, thighs, and biceps and 1.75 inches in the hips. So it is working  Hopefully, I will be adding to those numbers lost.

Started workouts 9 & 10, plus cardio 3 this week. They are tough, but I'm managing! Also thinking about what to do after I am done. The end is getting closer and closer. So proud that I haven't missed one workout yet. Keep going to those just starting out!! You can do it!!
-
Dnneka, I would just follow her meal plan and keep at it. It does work! I don't make her recipes, mainly because I don't care for some of it, but I just try to stay around 1200 calories, up the protein, lower carbs. I am finishing Phase 2 tomorrow and have lost 13 lbs so far. Good luck to you!! ( I wish we could get more…

I agree with this. I stay around 1200 and have a variety of food, too. Portion control is a big thing.

Just started WO's 7 & 8 this week. Wow my chest and arms and abs are sore! This will be a long 2 weeks, I think!
-
I, too, have had this happen. A work friend of mine and I kept saying we were going to start dieting on such-and-such date and never did. I finally did start alone. Lost 4 lbs, found MFP and have lost 21 more. I still have a ways to go. At first, she would ask me out to eat all the time (probably trying to sabotage my…

wheel pushups? dancing crab? I'm scared! lol :noway:

Hi there! New to the board here. Just started Phase 2 this week. Whew! I am really loving this challenge. I lost 10 lbs in Phase 1 and am hoping to lose lots more. Gaining a lot of muscle and feeling great! Good luck to everyone!

I guess they might be ok in a pinch, but they don't have much nutrition in them and little food. I always try to make my own frozen meals. Just make extra of the good stuff and freeze it.

1504 min in July! 25.0666 hrs!

I just got the same HRM and mine is showing lower calories burned, too. I am trusting more in the HRM, as opposed to MFP numbers, because I wasn't losing any weight before. I would just go with the HRM numbers for a while and see what happens. You can always either love that you are losing weight more quickly or add some…

I think they are way off on the calories burned. I got a HRM from my daughter for my birthday, and it is MUCH lower than what MFP had. And that would explain why I wasn't losing anything when eating calories back.
