Unfortunately, with my first pregnancy I was nauseated all nine months. This time around it got better around week 14. Ginger tea and ginger candy were life savers for me getting through the work day and commuting! BTW, ginger tea is super easy to make at home instead of buying at the store.

I vary my daily amont of carbohydrates based on my post prandial blood sugars. I have found that I do a lot of cooking on the weekend so the fridge and freezer are stocked and I can nuke a homemade meal every night.

Nothing wrong with not eating a "traditional" breakfast or foods. I personally enjoy waiting util around 9:00 in the morning and then eating a salad.

Any vegetable goes great as long as you chop it up fine. The other thing I do is get frozen vegtables and then with a closed bag smash with hammer and you have crushed veggies you can add to any recipe!

Doctors get two weeks nutrition in med school and don't feel qualified. Most would like to refer patients to a dietitian but insurance won't cover seeing a dietitian so they rather say lose weight since they don't know how. They are also required by insurance companies to go by numbers for reimbursement.

One thing I find helpful is I will cook a lot of meals over the wekend and then keep some in the freezer and some in the fridge so I have time to spend with my daughter or even better let her watch an episode of Caillou so I can get a quick shower in after being sweatty from working out and then picking her up from daycare…

It is very important as you are going from 8pm until 11 am with no food so your metabolism slows down and it makes it harder to lose weight. Your brain doesn't function as well if you don't get energy in the morning. Keep in mind breakfast can be as simple as a piece of fruit, crackers and cheese, or half a sandwich.

I had a day like that yesterday and I ended up going to they gym and doing the hardest workout I have ever had and actually felt better. The funny thing is I went to they gym to burn extra calories so I could eat chocolate!
