  • I just purchased a bag of vi-shape shake mix, after months of not using. Has the formula changed, does anyone know? I only drink for breakfast, and have been for about 4 yrs now. It didn't taste the same, I was wondering if anyone noticed if it was different
  • I agree with you on that. Even with reducing, I haven't had the cravings I did in the past for sweets. I have a big sweet tooth. But it's just not that. Every processed food has some form of sugar in it. I never realized that, till I started reading labels. I much more conscious now, and even though I still consume, I'm…
  • The soy in the Visalus product is a non GMO soy, in which the isoflavones (the bad stuff in soy products) has been removed. I suggest you do your research, before bad mouthing the product. I've had success doing body by vi, and I've never felt better in my life.
  • I also do Body By Vi. Love the product, and not trying to sell it either. I do promote it though, and if you're looking to buy, you can send me a message, but I wouldn't push it on anyone.
  • Spinach in the shake is awesome. I just had one for lunch today. I did 1 cup original almond milk, 5 frozen strawberries, a giant handful of baby spinach, and 1 pkt Orange defense flavor pkt, with 2 scoops shake mix. It was fabulous.
  • That's great! 3lbs is awesome. I didn't lose anything in the first 3 weeks of my challenge. At the end of my first 90 day, I lost a total of 14lbs, 11 inches lost. I've just started my 2nd 90 challenge, and have dropped a lb this week. That seems to be how my body works, a lb a week. I'll take it. Welcome! and good luck.
  • Hi, guess I'm a newbie to this group, so let me introduce...My name is Ellen. This is my 2nd 90 day challenge, and total loss so far is 32lbs, and 11 inches. Loving this. I've never lost this much before, and stuck with it. My favorite shake is my coffee shake in the morning. I make it with a cup of vanilla almond milk, 2…
  • Wow, I just found this. Don't know what month i posted it, but I'm 50 yrs old now, and will be 51 come October. I gained that weight I'd lost then, but got back on, and lost it again. This time I won't stop. It was too easy to put it back on again. i won't make that mistake again.
  • I ordered the grilled margarita chicken. Came with rice, black beans, and pico de Galo. Picked it off the 600 Cal. or less. Water to drink, and still had calories to spare the rest of the night.
  • I also have PCOS, Type 2 diabetes, and Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Losing weight has always been a struggle for me. I also lose very slow, to where I just give up. CAH prevents my body from producing cortisol, so I have to take cortisone, which causes my blood sugar to rise, which then causes my hormones to be even…
  • I don't like any of the low calorie dressings. I'm a blue cheese or ranch fan myself. i just do the old Weight watcher trick, of dipping my fork in the dressing, and adding a fork full of salad. You'll be able to indulge in your favorites, and actually use less dressing than if you were to pour it on top.
  • Faceless names on a screen. don't let them get to you. suck it up, and move forward. We all have hardships in our lives. There are more that do care, than there are people who don't. Put the past behind you, and start again. You will not fail, if you move forward. (((hugs))).

  • Walking is free. Do it 30 minutes each day, and you'll start to see results. Keep increasing your time, and the weight will drip off. If you don't have time during the day to walk, get up earlier, and do it first thing in the morning. there are no excuses.
  • 50 and very cool.! At least my 10 y/o thinks so. On a long journey to drop the weight. Want to go down to where I was 20 yrs ago. OMG, that was in my 30's. Where has the time gone?
  • I go even 1 further. If you beat an eggwhite until frothy, coat the potato slices in the egg white, and then bake. You won't really add any extra calories, but you'll get a crispier fry.
  • if I want chocolate, I have it. It's better to satisfy with a little bit, than to raid the fridge looking for something to satisfy you. Hershey's dark chocolate kisses are my go to. 3 of them are just under 100 calories, and satisfy the sweet tooth.
  • You can add your own exercise to the database. So if you burn so much at that intensity level, just add it there, and the calories you burn, and then it will calculate the calories burned for you if you do more or less.
  • you can add me. I'm not new to dieting...been doing this most of my life.
  • I think if it weren't for you Mare, I wouldn't have gotten this far. You've been a great motivator, and a great friend.

  • Will be 49 this year, and I know exactly how you feel. I want to lose about 120 lbs, maybe more. I'll see when I get to that point if I want to lose more. The older I've gotten, the harder it is to take off. It get discouraging sometimes, and I just want to say eff it. I don't because of health reasons, and for the fact…
  • Absolute chocoholic but I love Nutella with Wheat Thins Fiber Select Crackers. Pair it with a hot cup of tea, and it's really filling.
