  • I had to tighten my apple watch band. I know that sounds crazy but that thrilled me.
  • My husband is currently following LCHF but I can't realistically say I'm going to give up carbs completely.
  • Well I signed up for Weight Watchers because I have had success with it before. Now with the new smart points I felt like I was starving because all the foods have much higher points value than the previous plan so I didn't really give it much of a chance. I had my gym's nutritionist work up my macros but I'm not sure if I…
  • Thank you so much for the link. It was very helpful.
  • it's been a few days without a loss. I think since Saturday.
  • I do have a food scale and weigh and measure everything. Plus I'm going to the gym and doing zumba. I honestly feel like I'm doing everything right so I just dont understand.
  • I have always said that movie theaters need to offer healthy choices for their customers. Of course they would cost a fortune. You could air pop some popcorn and sneak in your bag or some 100 calorie snacks are a good option. I usually go to the movies after I have eaten at a restaurant and then I usually just purchase a…
  • Feel free to add me.
  • What motivates us is different for everyone. I still struggle but I have lost 79 pounds so it can definitely be done. Just ask yourself WHY you want to do this. For some it's to fit into an old pair of jeans and for others it is strictly about health, but I think we can all honestly answer that we want to look better. I…
  • Don't feel guilty. You can't take care of anyone else if you aren't first taking care of yourself. Maybe when the weather is nicer if you are feeling particularly guilty about leaving for the gym, just get outside and play with your child. Play some ball, get a trampoline, etc...It will be a good workout for you and just…
  • Thanks I will take a look at it.
  • Thanks I will definitely do that. I love hard boiled eggs and string cheese so I might give that a try tomorrow and see if it helps. Maybe I really hungry but eating the wrong kinds of foods to hold me over until I get home.
  • haha...that may be why I'm starving then. I will introduce more protein into my snacks.
  • Thanks and I do bring low-cal snacks. I usually have some oranges or an apple and maybe a cup of applesauce, etc...My lunch at work is at 11:00 and it makes for wanting to snack a lot between then and 5:00 when I go home.
  • That's just it. It's not from hunger. It is from boredom. When I'm home I can get involved with some type of physical activity when I want to snack but I can't do that at work. I do have a treadmill here at work that I have access to that I use on my breaks and lunch. Like I said I am very active I just hate this feeling…
  • cup of cereal with a small amount of 2% milk and a banana around 250 calories.
  • Feel free to add me if you like.
  • I've started and stopped so many times over the years that I've lost count. I've joined and stopped WW numerous times with mediocre, temporary success. It wasn't until I saw a photo of myself with my two skinny sisters-in-law that I decided to do something about my out of control lifestyle. Don't get me wrong I fall off…
  • Feel free to add me too. I have a teenager and a 5 year old. I work full time and so does my husband. Unfortunately he gets up at 4:00 a.m. for work so he pretty much hits the mattress after supper so I am left with helping my son with his homework and cleaning the house along with everything else. Gets busy but I still…
  • I am a total gadget junkie. I purchased a fitbit ultra about a year ago and I wore it every single day with the goal of getting in 10,000 steps and 5 miles per day. I didn't this successfully 99% of the time. I was disappointed when I noticed it beginning to crack down the middle and a few chips on the side so I replaced…
  • Thanks for all the words of encouragement. I forgot to mention that I have plantar fasciitis which makes it a little more difficult but I'm gonna hang in there and keep plugging away.
  • I guess it's the newest trend in exercise but in all honesty it really is a fun class. I do have to say that the class I attend it really no more than high impact aerobics with some Zumba moves thrown in. It is not at all like the DVD's that I have and use at home but it is still a lot of fun and a great work out. I burn…
  • Thanks I saw a doctor actually and was given an inhaler. They are thinking that it could be allergy related and I am having allergy testing done tomorrow. It could also possibly be GERD. I am seeing a doctor on Monday about that and possibly having tests done to check.
  • Thanks everyone for you kind comments. Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!
  • Just stick with it and you will accomplish it!
  • And what does that have to do with this topic?
  • Thanks everyone on the kind comments and well wishes. It has been a FAB birthday so far. Can't wait to get home and spend the rest of my day with my family.
  • It really does help to see that it is achievable with hard work.
  • Thanks it has taken a long time and I have struggled but it is so worth all the effort.
