Get the Edamame Tofu nuggets at Trader Joe's. It is only $2.99 for a bag - better option than McDonald's and pretty tasty.

Beans: kidney, black, pinto, lima...all of them are good are great and delicious when prepared right :) I also have made myself like tofu (again just have to season/prepare correctly). If you have a Whold Foods by you try out tempeh or seitan as well ( meat substitutes...one is soy based and the other is wheat based).…

Thank you everyone!!! Ok I'm excited now to try it out tonight :-)

Next time try the skinny girl margarita, I had one yesterday to celebrate and it really wasn't that sweet. Plus it is only $15 a bottle which is probably close to what you'd pay if you went out for a margarita (well at least in Chicago it would be) ha :)

Small world! I was just at Walgreens trying to find a supplement to get more fiber...there were so many choices I walked out empty handed, so I would love to hear some opinons of other people :)

Just went on a roat trip this past weekend for Easter and packed the following: sliced raw radishes, sliced green peppers, cherub tomatoes and hummus (only allowed 2 tbsps worth to dip with though and ate the rest raw). I also had a tuberware full of red grapes for when I had a sweet tooth as well as some strawberries…

See if they have any vegetarian dishes or maybe go with some fish tacos (preferrably grilled but if it is breaded then scrape off the breading with your knife). Don't use sour cream or guac. Either way you'll be high on sodium but those should be the more low cal options (still will be 500+ once you factor in tortillas).…

I hear ya! I had the same trouble with some friends the other day...I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle and I felt like I was getting picked on because I won't eat junk food all the time. I don't have the luxury of a fast metabolism either as some of them do so I just felt kinda down after that night's conversation.…

try Agave Nectar...they have light versions and you can get it at a Trader Joes.

My snacks consist of green tea (no sugar) but squeeze some fresh lemon in it as it makes your body absorb the antioxidants better, 3 almonds, 1/4th of a green pepper with laughing cow light swiss cheese wedge and that's it, and a pear or apple (some kind of fruit). Then for lunch water with fresh lemon, very small portion…

Thanks for posting! That was an interesting read for sure (kinda made me giggle at parts too haha).

A pear, 3 unsalted raw almonds, organic firm tofu, cherub tomatoes, organic greek yogurt 0% fat and I squeeze lemon into my water.

are you running 7 days a week? you need to give your body a day or two of rest (from running at least). You can always change up your workouts on your two days off from running and do some strength training or something.

I love having a cheat day once a week or every two weeks. I don't want to deprive myself completely of food that taste good and that isn't necessarily good for you. I just make sure I don't go overboard (everything in moderation). It has always worked for me and I continue to lose weight. I enjoy to go out with my family…

I usually have 3 raw slices of green pepper to pair with 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese spread. Organic Greek Yogurt 0% fat (good for protein) sprinkled with Fiber One Original Cereal (only 60 calories for dry 1/2 cup and 0 sugar) and also put some blueberries ontop of it. I also have steamed broccoli and some…

with slices of crunchy fresh green peppers....YUM!

Exercise is good for toning too. Is there any way you can just run 10 minutes at a 6.7mph pace? The littlest bit will do wonders I promise :) Maybe just a run around the block or something.

the spinach salad without bacon and a side of the vinegrette dressing :)
