I don't know how I got the idea that Splenda is aspartame, but thank you for correcting me! And thank you for the recommendations! Oatmeal wise, I'm not a big fan of warm fruit usually so I often prefer it plain, or opt for one of the pre-flavoured packets. Hence the lack of sweetness. I sometimes prefer it without the…

Alright, thank you for the responses!

Thank you very much!

I don't eat/drink dairy because of gallbladder stuffs (I get my calcium from a doctor regulated supplement), but I suppose I'm not exactly sure why I "have" to give it up. I was told it would be recommended by my doctor but didn't think to ask why, haha. I have read all sorts of things about caffeine having very negative…

I usually stick with some combo of eggs, who grain bagel thins, peanut butter, sliced fruit, and oatmeal.I don't get too creative with it because I'm not a morning person and am usually too sleepy to want to cook. xD

I have an extremely limited diet due to upper and lower GI problems, so this is something I have very much experience with. Over the years I have learned that eating with or around friends and extended family can be difficult. I keep some of my GI troubles to myself because it's personal and embarrassing so many of them…

I'm curious: What is your favourite high end active wear brand? And what is your favourite, more affordable brand? And why? =]
-
I definitly may purchase one of the open backed tops from Fabletics, next!! I recently just ordered 4 items from Macy's Ideology active wear line, and I am excited about them. Galaxy print capri leggings, tank top, and long sleeve top, and a black/gray leopard print track jacket. I seriously cannot wait to workout tomorrow…

Cute!!! I seriously love the backless top and both leggings. I like the sheer bits in the first pair and the second pair are just fun. Are they high rise at all? I defintily need to check out the site more!!

I seriously just typed up and edited a good few paragraphs about what I have learned during my own journey towards self acceptance, in hopes that it might help you somehow, just for my laptop to shut down and begin installing updates right as I am about to click the 'post' button. So here goes my second, less well worded,…

I know what you mean about the price. That's why I'm sticking with the clearance rack at TJ Maxx for now. Haha. Lately I've been looking into various women's athletic/yoga/exercise clothing brands though, just for fun and general research purposes. I can't actually afford any of it, but "window" shopping is fun anyhow, and…

I definitely shop at TJ Maxx (I have yet to go to Marshalls though!) and stalk clearance sections. Retailmenot.com is also awesome for coupons. =]

I did not know they were Canadian, so thank you for letting me know! When I tried researching Kyodan after discovering I owned a top by them from a thrift shop, I found many articles about how they were very similar to Lululemon and made in the same factory, so I was under the impression that they were affiliated. Thank…

I don't yet fit into Lululemon (At least I don't think I do), but I've fallen in love with the Canadian version, Kyodan. I now have 5 pair of their leggings, and 3 tank tops with built in shelf bras. There are a few Lululemon items on my "weight loss wishlist" though! As well as Athleta pants.

Over the last few months I have been incorporating exercise into my day to day life, and at the beginning I found it very difficult because of wardrobe troubles (Troubles being clothing not staying put while I do an exercise, thin leggings ripping at the inseam, non-supportive tops, and so on). So I did some research, and…

Perhaps you could contact a moderator privately and talk with them about it. I imagine they had good reason.

Thank you, very much!

I feel you on the IBS front! Mine has been flaring up the last few days so I've been weak and felt quite foggy, which makes exercise impossible since I will likely hurt myself or make it much worse. It's just been driving me insane. I've also got gallbladder troubles and a hypertensive LES, so I've been working with…

Personally, I would recommend you try logging calories, and if you would like to drink, to plan your diet for the day around that. Drinking can add up to many empty calories. When I drink, it's a straight shot of tequila or rum, or a glass of SkinnyGirl in my flavor of choice, but even those shots without the mixers can…

It sounds like you have a great attitude about it and wonderful dedication. That sort of thing can often be contagious, so perhaps you'll eventually rub off on your family and they will want to join you! Either way, great job!

I second this! When I feel negative, I distract myself by composing, crafting, or anything else I can find. Then, when I feel positive, I workout and I add to my fitness binder, so that I have positivity to look through when I am feeling low again. It's helped a lot lately.

I agree with everything everyone else said. =] I think we all know exactly how you feel because we all have those feelings about ourselves sometimes. The stress of college and the life transitions that happen during those years don't help any either, haha. I definitely have had many of those days lately and it isn't any…

Rock on! I'm excited to try on my winter coat in a month or two because I'm hoping it will be a bit loose by then. Small victories are what keep us going, sometimes! =]

Pool exercises and walking slowly/leisurely around the neighborhood did wonders for my mother (among other family members) while she was healing from her double knee replacement, along with her physical therapy. I would say check with your doctors and keep them updated as you change any activitys, and see if they can…

I agree with all of this.^^^ I think comments and such that would be taken as flirtatious IRL, seem more complimentary on the internet. Many people would likely prefer the 'hot damn's to the 'good job's I think, because it's nice to hear that our hard work is paying off. Even if physical looks aren't something that we are…

You're all welcome to add me, as well! I'm always looking for motivational buddies and am certainly here to be support for anyone who needs it! I strive to keep an overly positive/optimistic attitude but sometimes it's difficult so it's nice to have people to talk to when things get frustrating.<3 Feel free to add me on…

It sounds to me like heartburn or a mild bile attack. For me, those usually result in throat tickles and couching for a while afterwards. I often have trouble with the areas you are describing from heartburn as well. (I was born with a hypertensive LES, and despite the heavy medication and extremely limited diet, even light…

The things that keep me focused tend to change frequently, but attraction is definitly one that has been reoccuring. Also the idea of feeling more comfortable around my group of friends (Many of which are quite active, fit, and healthy) drives me towards bettering my health and staying determined.

Great job!! It's victories like that adding up that make me feel truly confident and proud. Keep it up!! =]

My weight has fluctuated a ton over the years so my close friends have yet to notice or say anything about my recent weight loss and muscle gain, but my mother (who sees me every day) has mentioned that she noticed some of my tops looking more loose and my face/jaw looking slimmer. I read a quote that said it takes 4 weeks…
