When post get removed without warning

I have had couple of my anwers to a thread get removed and I didn't get sent a warning email or anything .My answers just got deleted. They were not rude answers but brutally blunt .what gives?:huh:

Someone reported you, the mods looked, agreed it should be gone and deleted. If they consulted everyone first, they'd never have time to do anything else.0

Perhaps you could contact a moderator privately and talk with them about it. I imagine they had good reason.0

Maybe you are thinking you are being brutally blunt but the moderators are interpreting a different message from you. I say contact them and ask for strikes as a previous poster suggested.0

If you want to be blunt you have to be impersonal or it comes across as a personal attack. Rather than 'You must be stupid!' go for something like 'It's hard to see how a choice like that could have a positive outcome'.
