When post get removed without warning

I have had couple of my anwers to a thread get removed and I didn't get sent a warning email or anything .My answers just got deleted. They were not rude answers but brutally blunt .what gives?:huh:

    Someone reported you, the mods looked, agreed it should be gone and deleted. If they consulted everyone first, they'd never have time to do anything else.
  • Perhaps you could contact a moderator privately and talk with them about it. I imagine they had good reason.

    Send a note to Olivia that you would prefer getting strikes to just having your posts removed. That way you can get notice and an explanation as to why. Problem solved.

    Maybe you are thinking you are being brutally blunt but the moderators are interpreting a different message from you. I say contact them and ask for strikes as a previous poster suggested.

    If you want to be blunt you have to be impersonal or it comes across as a personal attack. Rather than 'You must be stupid!' go for something like 'It's hard to see how a choice like that could have a positive outcome'.
