No, I get hungry if I wait long enough. But if I try to eat 3 meals plus snacks I don't get hungry, don't enjoy what I'm putting in my face, and tend to just grab something "because so-and-so trainer said I have to", and it often isn't a nutritious snack.

I really like the veggie straws from Costco. A big 'ole pile has 130 calories! Salty and crunchy! For a sweet snack, I have 4 pitted prunes and 2 dried apricots. Sweet and chewy, and nutritious!

Baked "fried" fish. I ended up with catfish jerky. It. Was. Terrible. And Hungry Girl's lower-cal frosting. 1/3 cup frosting + Jello pudding. Never did figure out what I did wrong, but I just ended up with thin pudding. Pass.

Personally, Diet anything is out of my house. I am striving to keep artificial junk out of my life. I feel better without Diet Coke - and what goes great with an ice cold fountain Diet Coke? Carrots? No. A cheeseburger. Diet Coke makes me want to eat crap. So - it's buh bye Diet Coke!

Exactly when/how long does it take for your body to go into a fasted state? 12 hours? 16 hours? 36hours? How do you know when you just go from hungry to fasting and your body experiences the hormonal changes?
