I agree with Dvdgzz. Keep doing what you've been doing. I would change the intensity of my workout to see if it would help. Increase water intake slightly and see how my body responds. I'm 5 kg to goal weight, but I started at 120 kg, so I appreciate the frustration. Be kind to yourself and experiment to see what works for…

My god! what a transformation. Well done! You are a star

If a person has over 50 lbs to lose, it's not going away in a day or two. In my opinion a 600-800 calorie diet is dangerously low to be on for an extended period of time. I have lost 107 lbs in over a year and on a 1200 calorie / day. But I do eat back exercise calories and keep a watch on my body fat %. While I respect…

What an inspirational transformation. I've lost 100 lbs so far and am trying to complete a 5k. I'm totally motivated by your message this morning and will remember when I run tonight - that it's all in the mind. If I do complete the 5K, I shall come back here and share. Thank you for being a huge motivation.

You are awesome!

Good Morning All! I think I'll go for 75 km in Aug :)
-
This is excellent! I will try today and post. Be warned, it will be a dreadful number :p
-
Hi all... Just wanted to inquire if there is an Aug page? I'm very very new to running, do you accept newbies? I would love to see how much my body can do. Loved this thread for motivation, friendship and respect you have for each other.

My husband and I have lost over 153 lbs collectively. He is such a support and inspiration. We have Friday Dates where one of us asks the other out with a fun activity planned. Walking a new trail, biking in a new bicycle path, running around an F1 racetrack, mall walking- we've done loads of fun stuff -Then have a coffee…

You have all done amazingly well! From 264 I'm down to 167... Around 35 lbs to go!

Hi I’m Archana, My husband and I are from India but live in UAE now. I started MFP at 120 kg on Jan 1 2014. Currently at 75.7 kg, with 15.7 kg to target weight. I love these groups, the motivation and the spreadsheet :) My challenge is finding time to cook healthy and exercise. A typical day starts at 4:30 am and winds up…

:) :) :) I did it! Week 8 Day 3 complete... I'm really slow. But that can be fixed!
-
I did it! Week 8 complete! Now to run a 5k this weekend and time myself :)
-
Timing Doubt; When I run, I start out with a brisk walk and then run, do I calculate distance from when I start walking or when I start running?
-
Update: Today will be Week 8 Day 3 - What I thought was impossible... It's like looking at the peak of a mountain I've been climbing for ages, knowing that in a few more steps I would've scaled it. Just a few more... Thank you everyone. You are all part of my success <3

Congratulations! Wow @Autumnfilly2005 , 4mph is like double my speed I think! But you have stirred hope in me that I may be able to speed up someday. And fist bump on 10K training! Maybe I can try that next Weight loss wise, I have 16 kg to go before the doctor can declare me healthy. However, I’m also going to start a…

Week 7 Day 1 of C25K done! Tracked it on Fitbit, so it didn't update here :) I started out ok, but finished rather slow. I'm so happy to have run though. I still remember the day I ran for 10 seconds at a stretch and felt like I conquered the world! I was wearing a yellow and navy blue t-shirt with a picture of tweety on…

@worldsworstsuperhero Sorry about Katowice. It is very hard to lose a member of the family. Sending out virtual hugs and love. I explicitly remember that feeling when I completed my three minute run and thought 'What just happened? :o ' lol. We've done good haven't we? Let me get out there and complete my Week 7 Day 1…

Thank you so very much. This is very reassuring

I would like to thank each and everyone who motivated me to keep at it. I have completed Week 6 and am looking forward to Week 7 (with a bit of nervousness ofcourse) Weight wise, I'm at 77 kg at present. To think I was 94 kg when I started C25K  Thank you all again! I'll keep you posted on how I go
-
Wow... I can't believe it's been so long :) I'm happy to announce that I'm at 77 kg now. The 43 kg loss is awesome. I have 17 more to go and can use all the motivation I can get !
-
Week 7 - A bit of apprehension :/ I seem to be so slow. I hardly completed 3 km on week 6 day 3. That's like 1.8 miles :( Am I doing something wrong ?!
-
Week 6 is Done! Week 7, here I come. Thanks for all the positivity :) This group is awesome!
